Mammoth10 Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 http://youtu.be/fPsMR7HvuZM Post of the Year It's no 'Encore un fois'
Zhan_Zhuang Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Hoping to see Sterling start here too and if he carries his end-of-season form into the World Cup then he must surely be in the first eleven?
dakid007 Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 England team should be Hart Stones Cahill jagielka shaw Milner Henderson Barkley Sterling Sturridge welbeck Get rid of old players f experience. I want excitement If we're gona go out might aswell go down fighting
Stevo985 Posted June 3, 2014 VT Supporter Posted June 3, 2014 --------------------Hart Johnson, Jagielka, Cahill, Baines ------------------Gerrard ---------Lallana----------Henderson ------------------Sterling ------------Rooney---Sturridge See how that works Johnson and Baines providing the width. 1
Stevo985 Posted June 3, 2014 VT Supporter Posted June 3, 2014 I agree. Doesn't change the fact that I'd want to see that tried.
Avfc96 Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Think he will go something like- Foster Johnson Jones Jagielka Shaw Wilshere Lampard Ox Barkley Sterling Lambert
Con Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Think he will go something like- Foster Johnson Jones Jagielka Shaw Wilshere Lampard Ox Barkley Sterling Lambert Surely Jones and Smalling together at the back, so Cahill and Jagielka can start together in the last game.
villa4europe Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 --------------------Hart Johnson, Jagielka, Cahill, Baines ------------------Gerrard ---------Lallana----------Henderson ------------------Sterling ------------Rooney---Sturridge See how that works Johnson and Baines providing the width. For the Italy game 100% agree! don't really care who starts tomorrow's game just want to see them try that shape For as good as Fridays score line was as soon as I saw sturridge on the right welbeck on the left I lost interest, Roy's shitting himself if he thinks that'll do anything
Stevo985 Posted June 3, 2014 VT Supporter Posted June 3, 2014 Sturridge played up front to be fair. And I actually don't mind wellbeck in that role. It makes sense with Baines behind him
CardiffGreens Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 (edited) James Milner to be shoehorned into a right back role. "There may be moments in the World Cup where we'd like to use him there" said Roy H, I can only presume "those moments" being any time Glenn Johnson has to do any sort of defending. It just reminds of that time McLaren tried to play Kieron Dyer there in a training session before the media turned into a furiously frothing mess and the whole thing was never spoken of again. Edited June 3, 2014 by CardiffGreens
Avfc96 Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Rooney is going to start on the left, Milner at right back, Jones and Smalling at centre back with Lampard captaining the side with Wilshere along side in midfield.
swaib2004 Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Hodgson must have been speaking to mon . That was always his tactic take luke young off , put Milner to right back and put someone further up the pitch.
LondonLax Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Wasn't it Reo-Coker who always got moved back there?
