Well I hope those supporting Citeh today will be pleased that football's tumour will have grown a bit more by the final whistle.

Yeah, Liverpool are representative of everything that's right in football. :)

You're only supporting Citeh out of spite though, because Villa can't compete... because we don't have unlimited funds like Citeh.

Fat Dowd in clueless moron shocker.

I'd ask for him to get sent down to the Skrill leagues for a season or two, but I wouldn't wish his officiating on anyone.

Maybe he can just be fired. From a massive cannon.

West Brom are losing 1-2 against Stoke City.

Aston Villa are the top Midlands club. Back where we belong. I know it's been a poor season, but there is something small to shout about.

In case anyone wants to informally continue Con's prediction contest:

Cardiff 0-2 Chelsea 5 points for Chelsea win, 2 points for Chelsea correct score = 7

Fulham 0-1 Palace

Hull 0-1 Everton 5 points for Everton win, 2 points for Hull correct score = 7

Liverpool 3-1 Newcastle 5 points for Liverpool win, 2 points for Newcastle correct score = 7

Man City 3-0 West Ham 5 points for Man City win, 2 points for West Ham correct score = 7

Norwich 0-1 Arsenal 5 points for Arsenal win, 2 points for Norwich correct score = 7

Southampton 0-1 Man Utd 2 points for Man Utd correct score

Sunderland 1-1 Swansea 2 points for Sunderland correct score

Spurs 1-0 Villa 5 points for Spurs win, 2 points for Villa correct score = 7

WBA 1-1 Stoke 2 points for WBA correct score

48 points unless I'm mistaken in my grading. Edited by leviramsey

Shock of all shocks the team with the highest wage bill has won the league. The same as pretty much every premier league season since it began. I hope Villa get money so we can buy some success.

well, like I've said before, when the alternative is Liverpool I really couldn't give a flying ****.

Yeah we'd all love it to not be won by a moneybags club. But who realistically could that be?

Given the choice of man city or liverpool, I'd rather see city win the next 10 in a row than see Liverpool win it once.

The most dramatic of seasons? No, it really wasn't.

Talksport gas as usual.

it was fairly dramatic. But an anticlimactic end.

2012 was far far more exciting in terms of a dramatic ending
