Me and the wife have just jotted down our bucket lists.

It was actually really fun and we had a laugh doing it.

We only live once right? (ex bhuddists not inc.) Is there stuff you want to do while you're in good health, stuff you probably won't do, but like the thought of?

Here's mine (so you can laugh at it! :D)

1. Scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef

2. Do a skydive

3. Take a plane flying lesson

4. Drive route 66

5. Drive around Europe

6. Visit Machu Picchu

7. Visit Taj Mahal

8. See the Pyramids

9. Walk along the Great Wall of China

10. Visit the Christ the Redeemer (Rio de Janerio)

11. Run a marathon

12. Go to Easter Island

13. Climb Kilamanjaro (doing this in 4 years)

14. Do the 3 Peaks Challenge in 24 hours (next year)

15. Go to Monaco

16. Go to the Amazon River

17. Try my hand at stocks and shares

18. Own a Rolex

19. Visit Red Square & Kremlin in Moscow

20. Learn Italian (already not too bad)

21. Visit places around Italy

22. BBQ 5kg of Pork - I just think it looks cool when they do it on TV

23. See the Northern Lights

24. Learn to Snowboard (This June! :))

25. Write a Sitcom

26. Try and travel for free - see how far I can get

27. Go somewhere off the beaten track - Tony, help me out! :D

28. Go on a cruise

29. Go on the Jurassic Park ride in Florida (a dream since I was a kid)

30. Go to Montana and do a fossil dig

31. Go to Japan and visit Kyumiso-dera temples

32. Visit Tokyo

33. Go to Auschwitz

Now do yours. :P

Fanculo stronzo! Only joking with the only Italian I can remember.

I've never done a bucket list. Great idea for a thread though. Here goes:

  1. Win a Big V championship in basketball.
  2. Attend a Villa game at Villa Park
  3. Spend a season playing semi professionally in England for basketball, and during my stay regularly attend Villa matches.
  4. Own my own home in a neighbourhood that I would like to live in.
  5. Start my own basketball association and academy for at risk and disadvantaged kids and youth, with legitimate pathways to a pro career.
  6. Maintain my volunteer work in the community in some capacity until I cark it, at the very least on a monthly basis.
  7. Visit and explore Lefkada and Monodendri, meet my family there.
  8. Visit The Meteora monasteries in Greece.
  9. Visit the Sphinx and pyramids.
  10. Tour the Chilean and Argentinian sides of Patagonia.
  11. Visit Chicago for a Bulls game.
  12. Learn Spanish
  13. Travel across Europe as a backpacker.
  14. Read the Quran
  15. Become adept in my martial arts so that I can be an instructor.
  16. Gallop on a horse.

That'll do for now.

I didn't post originally, but it would have probably been about visiting a load of new counties.

Today, it would be a lot less ambitious

1) Like to visit Japan and South Korea

2) Like to get my illness under control, which would massively assist in the above. At the moment it adds an added layer of stress and inconvenience to everything

3) Own my dream car in the next 8 years

4) See Villa win a major trophy.

5) Retire early and perhaps live on a narrowboat.

Not really a 'bucket list' as such, just stuff i'd like to do and all realistic.

All of Japan

Hawaii

Leaning Tower of Pisa

Taj Mahal

See the Northern Lights

Coast to Coast across USA stopping at big tourist stops & Guy Fieri endorsed eating places.

Go to a Wrestlemania,

Niagara falls, see new York, San Fran, Seattle, Florida etc...

Revised list. Don’t want to meet VillaAlex in drag anymore.

Japan has been my obsession for a long time now. This is my #1 aim in life now. I want to see and experience as much of the whole country as I can.

Also become obsessed with narrow boats thanks to YouTube so Im also hopefully going to be buying a narrowboat once my OH’s son has flown the nest in 5 years or so. Then I can go part time at work as well.

I suspect I own one of them.

You probably do, however, tonight I realised I don't as I only have the rerelease CD of both albums and there are no thanks on it. Mine would probably have been on the first album not the second.

I also realised tonight I don't have a copy of the other one I remember my name being on either. A compilation of singles by Glide (Will Sergeant) on Ochre Records

But if for ANY reason you're contacted by the authorities, I definitely wasn't me, ok? 😇

No thanks on an album yet.

Should be readily achievable these days I'd have thought, most bands that go down the fundraising route for an album tend to have this as quite a low-ish reward level.  Think I'm thanked on about 4 or 5 through crowdfunding campaigns, two of which I'm actually on-on though thankfully one was an effects-laden spoken word sample and the other which did require "singing" was as part of a gang vocal, so you can't really hear me ruining the whole thing.  Was a fun day out though.
