IwishIwasalivein1982
Robinson isn't even on the bench today. I was really hoping we'd get to see him for maybe the last 10 mins.
SeanO
Good that finally Weimann has been dropped but the chuckle bro's are a walking disaster. I can only assume Baccuna is injured.

Must be if he isn't on the bench either. That's another one down.

PieFacE Posted April 12, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted April 12, 2014 Clark has been very good IMO. Surprised Baker gets so much gametime, guessing its down to his physical presence. Clark > Baker
Kwan
If you cant see the lunacy of this formatiom, then I don't know. I don't think you can possibly get a formation more negative than this Edited April 12, 2014 by Kwan

Clark > Baker I think they're both fairly bad. But Clark is definitely the lesser of two evils. Okore please come back.
PaulC
Lambert has reverted to a defensive formation to try and cut out the goals. Don't like the team but what can you do
OutByEaster? Posted April 12, 2014 Moderator Share Posted April 12, 2014 Gabby/Delph are going to struggle to play the 90 minutes as well, it is a big worry. Maybe part of the reason for the formation - it allows us Weimann and Albrighton on the bench.

samjp26
Maybe with 3 CBs, Vlaar will be able to get forward and put some of his lovely balls in or even get some shots off

I don't think you can possibly get a formation more negative than this Well, it's obvious we can't lose this game. Palace are good on the counter attack, if we go at them we'll lose. Not losing this game is more important than winning imo. It's not a philosophy I like but on this occasion I think it's correct.
One For The Road
We went to strikerless West Ham earlier in the season and played 5 at the back. Surprisingly it ended 0-0. Mind you, when you are up against top sides like them and Palace you don't wanna take to many chances hey.... On a side note soccer saturday have not talked about Villa for the second week in a row. All they said was that we are always a threat away from home. Do they even watch football?? We are as shit away as we are at home!!

IwishIwasalivein1982
Would a draw be a decent result here? Since we've all apparently given up hope on a win, then I guess it is.
