We played really well. Good atmosphere at VP tonight too, best for a while. Unfortunately we came up against the most obviously blatantly biased ref I’ve seen in years and a front line who will punish mistakes, as they did for the winner which we absolutely gifted them. Luiz MOTM (at 8). He shows his class when further forward. Nakamba was great, shame he couldn’t last longer than an hour. McGinn was decent tonight too. Konsa was better than of late but still looked a bit shaky. Mings solid and the full backs had good games. Coutinho had a few flashes of brilliance and got on the ball well, Buendia was good once he came on. Impressed by both Ings and Watkins too. Loved seeing a wild Bertie appear, hope he’s still here next season. Hard to get anything from a game against a team when the ref is so far in their pocket but we should be proud of the lads tonight. Bring on Palace!

Probably been mentioned loads but just logging in from the Lower Holte… Moss is an absolute abomination. We’ve had some bad refs this season but I can’t remember a worse one in years. He’s not even trying to hide it. Absolute joke. We've been good. All 3 midfielders having decent games. Keep it up lads!

Shame not to see Buendia, would have considered sticking him in McGinn’s position if you want to play the other three attackers.

Think they will go full strength. Extra day of recovery compared to Chelsea for the FA Cup final and it’s pretty much do or die for them in the league after City won so convincingly today (GD swing). If we beat them they can wave goodbye to the league so I think they’ll be right up for it. Definitely need to focus attacks down our left to try and exploit TAA getting forward so much. I’d be tempted to throw them all in tbh Martinez Cash Chambers Mings Digne Tim Bertie Emi Coutinho Watkins Ings (not really)

Really enjoyed the day today (apart from the scoreline!). Was a joy to take my little lad to Villa Park for the first time! Only 13 months old but he seemed to enjoy himself and Didn’t grumble about being in the stands for 90 mins. 8300+ there too, they should do more games at VP, was great to see so many kids getting involved. Only caught a couple of the Women’s games on TV this season… really evident that we are lacking someone to put the ball in the net. Unfortunate goal to concede, bit of an Enckelman moment with Hampton dropping in a pretty tame cross, just as I’d been bigging her up to my wife as the England keeper for the next ten years

Took a -12 to swap Kane to Son (had to also get rid of Livramento before using BB). Paid off so far but Kane always seems to score against Arsenal. Decided I might as well have some fun at this stage, on for my best ever finish (hopefully in the top 100k for the first time - I know that’s not amazing but I’ve never managed it so will take it!), all a bit ‘what you could’ve won’ now anyway as I got as high as 17k at one point this season.

I’ve been setting my team each week but @AndyM3000has been far too strong to overhaul to try and retain my title. Congrats man, an incredible season!

Great win. Chambers looked good at DM and Luiz and McGinn had good games because he was there. Buendia MOTM, class again. Watkins and Ings linked up well. Martinez with some grade A sh*thou awry to wind up the Burnley fans, best thing about it being I don’t think he was actually wasting time. Rubbish that we conceded late on (second time this season after Palace that I’ve had FPL clean sheet points ripped away from me!) Great to see Coutinho with some warm positive words for Buendia as he came off too, showed some class there having been dropped for him.

43% increase for me in L8. Add that to the 33% increase in train fares now my 26-30 railcard has finally run out (when you turn 32) and/or the petrol prices. Going to the game just became a much more expensive habit. I understand the need for an increase but to go from £370 to £531 in one go with the current economic backdrop isn’t something I’m happy about. And I still have to miss the end of the first half if I want a drink at half time. And the queues for the trains are still massive.

Sign. Then spend pre season working out how he and Buendia play in the same team (should work with a solid DM behind them).
