A captain needs to lead by example in attitude at the very least and hopefully have ability to translate that attitude into performance and drive the team on.
He does none of the above. Id be happy with just the right attitude.
I watched it in the cinema and the ending scene was the first time Ive heard a collective sigh/gasp at a the end of a film. I thought it was a good film and a great experience but that has not been repeated when Ive watched it at home. .
While I am starting to enjoy American Football more and more and I did watch the Superbowl last night, I suppose the best way to put it is its 60 mins of action spread over 4 hours and that is the biggest struggle for most.
Our run of fixtures from the end of December to now was our window of opportunity. Newcastle, West Ham, Norwich, Sunderland, Palace, Leicester, West Brom, Man City, West Ham and Norwich. Drew 4 Won 2 Lost 4.
By no means a new thought. In the summer I hope to see us signing the best players in the championship and hoovering up all the young talent. Michail Antonio, Vardy, Austin, Ings show there are strikers there that are good enough. Even young players from League One like James Maddison at Coventry. Go get them.
Hes not a center back as he cant position himself and wonders off. For the same reasons and the fact he cant control the ball or pass it hes not good enough as full back. Hopefully good enough for the Championship as no one will take him off us.
I think he unsettles teams, hes not a typical big man. I like him, hes been out for a while and will take time to get up to speed. He has a knack of being in scoring positions even if he didnt score yesterday.
I see this as a good thing as I judge our hope on winning on whether the team we are playing are on a poor run. If Leicester needed a win to get out of a slump they would have got it against us.
