  1. These are the kind of stats where they do not give a fair reflection either way. What about adding how Wales and Northern Ireland voted to put in the full picture of how each country was split and how this added to the overall results.
  2. Bloody hell @Chindie it's a horror film. Did you shit yourself yes/no? Move on. ......then revote.
  3. Nearly 2 million signatures on the revote petition. Will we really have a revote? I can see the result being strongly in favor of in of cast again.
  4. The Swiss striker looks like he's been out in the lash
  5. I find a lot of the leave voters saying things like this but unable to say what any of this actually means or how it isn't the case already
  6. Well the ECC was founded in the 50s so for someone to be conscious of its impact would need to be in their 20s around then with an experience of what it was like yo be an adult in that time. Let's say that would make them 85 today. Everyone else has lived in a world with the situation we are leaving. Everything from here is guesswork and this decision isn't going to effect them
  7. While I don't condone that opinion on the leave voters I have read something this morning that states the over 50 voters are the ones to have voted out with over 65being at around 60% leave. now I'm not saying because your old you shouldn't be allowed to vote but a decision has just been made by a few who reasonably it won't effect. 18-24 was 75% remain. I think many of people who have to face this future did not want it and for me a personally it's a terrible decision made on the back of lies and promises to spend on things like the NHS which if you believe that you are just naive.
  8. It may be catastrophic on the economy. The "issue" with immigrants should very much be in back ground when making a decision whether to stay or leave.
  9. And the Undemocratic nature is also spin. The decisions are made by the elected officials of each Eu country.
  10. Very much agree with this. ive not been able to get through any of the debates due to every time I try the first two questions don't get answered and it becomes point scoring. People have too many sources now so unless your will to present positive stats while also addressing a negative argument the comments become irrelevant. Politicians seem unable too or unwilling to approach critical thinking on the matter and seem to think the public will just lap it up. However I don't know many if any leavers that have changed their mind over the last few months. Peoples minds were made up for what ever reason without hearing any supporting argument, where as it seems more people that were on the fence will vote in.
  11. I don't think immigration is the route cause of a lot of our issues but if you pull back public funding to the NHS, police force, transport etc and then blame the short fall of those services on immigrants they are going to be blamed for the issues. Remove the immigrants and realise that the funding is still killing these services in my opinion. The sun and the daily mail will have you believe it's all the sick, homeless, job less, cancer spreading immigrants are responsible for the problems with the country not the government in place. Leave that conversation for another thread. But the out vote is the current eaiest and quickest way to solve the immigrant crisis. I look forward tot he Calais border being returned to Dover.
  12. I love and hate a good office politics debate due to the idiotic and passioned views. unfortunately the strongest voices are the ones basing it on immigration, the leaders of the Eu not having been voted in and the money it costs. do you disagree with any laws they have brought in? I don't know any but that's not the point they didn't get voted in. Shouldn't you check to see if there's laws you disagree with as if not the method they have been made might be irrelevant?....... it costs x amount per week! But that is a small percentage of the weekly expenditure. But it costs x amount a year. But again it is a small percentage of the yearly expenditure. They could spend that on the NHS. but what about the immigrants. Do you know any immigrants that shouldn't be here? They were on the news. Well Eva in our office would have struggled to get in the country if we left the Eu. Well I like Eva.... I don't pretend to know all the facts when discussing and I like to play devils advocate I think there is evidence lacking on both sides. I am voting in but what annoys me is if you are voting at least have a basis and an understanding on what you are voting for and why. It seems a lot of votes out were made up before any evidence pro or against and nothing will change their mind.
  13. I just can't see UEFA banning the next host of the World Cup. I know they have no remit over it but it is surely the death of the tournament. If they do get removed a suspended sentence should be extended to all Russian clubs in domestic and European competitions with any instances meaning the cancellation of the tournament in Russia. Id like to say the Russian behaviour is just being spun by our press to make the minority look like the norm but the comments from members of their footballing body about the trouble in France suggests it's a cultural thing not a select few hooligans. the next 3/4 days in Lille will be interesting.
  14. Wouldn't be surprised it George is giving them the plot lines and endings that he'd decided not to run with and save the good stuff for the books he'll never finish. Bit of a weird season but not to dissimilar to others, I think hindsight looks back at some of the seasons a bit better than they were received at the time. Good start slow middle block buster ending.
  15. Hopefully we are looking at Arkadiusz Milik and go and put some money in front of Ajax. No harm in trying.
  16. The Conservative party is not geared to achieve any of the above. And what the hell is the Queen going to do about it really.
  17. While I agree. Do you need some tissues?
  18. Pepe is a disgrace and Ronaldo was absent during the game. Build the team around Bale and watch him go. Simeone has done a fantastic job and the average age of the squad has dropped significantly, will be sad to see Griezeman go which I think he will but at east they can replace him with Vietto, Correa or Borja Baston. They've probably got a few other youth teamers or young South Americans on loan as well. The future is bright for them as long as they don't let the vultures pick them apart.
  19. Bannan is just as useless as he was here . Neat and tidy with no penetration or speed
  20. I want Hull to go up as they are more likely to challenge us next year.
  21. I want Pearson but will be happy with Di Matteo. My only gripe being that I hope the decision hasnt been massively impacted by the Champions League win and the profile this will give him/us in other countries. We need a manager for now and hopefully hes been appointed for his promotion with West Brom as much as the Champions League win.
