Any town in Britain that has a Cathedral, is considered a City. Ely, Wells and Salisbury, though all relatively small, are legally cities. St David’s in Pembrokeshire is Britains smallest city, with a population of just 1348. It has a Cathedral ergo it’s a City, bit bonkers really.

If I’m in a room with other people, with a drink in my hand and food on the table, while at the same time joking that they must be at the most unsocially distanced gathering in the country. Then go to Parliament and state that all rules were followed. I think I’d stop digging.

His argument seems to be, I did wrong , I know I did wrong, but nobody told me it was wrong. How do you think it would play out if a bank robber caught red handed, argued in court that he was innocent because nobody told him it was wrong? He’s an absolute charlatan. Totally unfit to be in any position of authority.

Too easy to get behind this guy. Delays his passes so much he gets dispossessed in really dangerous positions. It’s been this way with him for some time now.

The Tories hate seeing anything in public ownership, that they feel could be used to make a fat profit for their chums in the private sector. The NHS to them is no different to any of the other public assets they have hived off. It’s pure dogma. It’s been a long term project of theirs to wash their hands of any responsibility for the health of the populace. Bastards all of them.

If he leaves he leaves. Don’t really see why, with our owners, we should lose any player. But if he does go, we’re in a position to demand a shed load of money for him.

Guy doesn’t win the big games. His record as a club manager was mediocre. Typical FA appointment. With this squad of players we should have won something by now. He’s just a loser.

How many of those who actively worked to achieve Brexit, are involved with hedge funds, or have large amounts of cash deposited in tax havens. The EU are clamping down heavily on tax avoiders, particularly those who keep their financial dealings cloaked in secrecy by using havens. There’s a whole scandalous can of worms that will one day be exposed regarding these people. Brexit was, to many of them, simply a way to avoid that scrutiny.

When 27 countries negotiate a trade deal, in which they offer access to the richest market in the world. They will always be in a stronger position to dictate terms beneficial to themselves than a country negotiating on their own. The only decent deals we have now are the ones where countries agreed to roll over existing deals we had with the EU. Don’t think we have managed a single major deal that has been better.

Santander have told me to regularly check my Direct Debits, but that I am covered for fraud. They also said that sometimes these crooks will wait a couple of years before using this stolen data. Hoping peoples guard will be down I suppose. -
In a General Election maybe. By elections tend to have lower turnouts. 50% is not low.

England teams always seem to play with fear. The last manager, in my opinion, to break this trait, was Terry Venables. Southgate is just so uninspiring. Still don’t know how he got the job, he was pretty insipid as a club manager. Yet another “ safe” appointment by the FA.

It would tear them to pieces. There’s been an ongoing civil war in their party for the last 30 years over Europe. UKIP have covertly taken over the Tories. Hope to see them at each other’s throats, it would kill them politically. And we’ll deserved it would be.
