Ratings & Reactions: Legia Warszawa v Villa
meregreen replied to limpid's topic in UECL1: Legia Warszawa a
Don’t see the point of that. You don’t analyse a teams failings by pointing at another teams failings. I’ve no doubt Unai will be looking closely at the performance, and identifying where we need to improve. Doubt very much he will shrug his shoulders and draw comfort in Brightons performance. Face it, we were dreadful.- 386 replies

Started with a weakened team. These things have a habit of costing dearly.

Konsa takes far too long to move the ball out of defence.

Could be smart from Starmer. He might lose a few votes from those still obsessed by Brexit, but polls show that’s a shrinking group. He could however draw votes away from those voting Lib Dem purely to register their support for closer ties to the EU. Think a large group of Brexit voters realise they were sold a fairy tale.

I’m travelling like crazy at the moment. Doing it while I still can. Lost a mate a few years back, he worked like a Trojan to get himself a decent pension, then pegged out at 57, ain’t life a bitch. Just got back from Alaska last Monday. Live life to the full as much as your able. Feeling great by the way

Many fans, and not just Villa fans, are concerned, that in the modern era, we are considered not so much as fans, but simply another source of income, to be milked for all its worth. Gate revenue is in fact only a very small proportion of Premiership clubs income. TV money is a much greater proportion. There is a danger that clubs could start to alienate the goodwill that has taken generations to build between fans and their clubs, if we start to feel we’re being squeezed for cash that we worked damn hard for, simply to boost the coffers of clubs that are already extremely wealthy.

Ah the old Ben Johnson. Spent many a happy session there before and after games. Tough pub to make a profit from, especially with so many local businesses closing Landlord used to say it was the football trade kept his head above water. Match days it was always rammed. It’s a bloody burger bar now, should be a law against it.

In fairness, this single thread, the only one we have for them, has been active for 15 years. So not that busy really. If you added up the multitude of different posts on multiple threads they have about us, It would vastly outnumber our posts on them.

No they won’t. The owners currently exiting actually bankrolled them to the tune of £100,000,000 during their tenure.Didn’t do them much good. Hedge funds are not into investing heavily, they see opportunities for a quick improvement at a minimum cost and maximum return. Then they sell. This ship will sink.

There’s not too much mileage in promoting a gold plated turd.

They’re wetting themselves over on SHA. Convinced they’re about to become the biggest club in the Universe. This is going to be hilarious when the wheels come off. Forever in our shadow, forever clutching at straws. A bunch of urchins with their noses squashed against the sweet shop window

Sunaks actually quite a grubby little man isn’t he.

If Charles Manson was still alive, he would have given Trump a run for his money in todays GOP. Truly appalling how low that Party has fallen.

Came from the other side of the City. But still a part of my memories of my youth and our rivalry, which somehow wasn’t as hateful as now. RIP Bluenose.

He was a good guy. He was what all news journalists should aspire to be. Now we have GB News……I could weep.

They did. Just seen someone else posted the same comment as me. Nice to know I’m not the only one who regards us as a “big boy”. Too many Villa fans simply accepting Sky bullshit.
