    Agree with this I think with the injuries and new players we are still a work in progress with the first team. There are positive signs but also plenty of areas that need improvement. You make a few changes to that team and the weaknesses just start adding up.

    Good - those shirts are absolutely ridiculous. Find it hard to believe they are wet look as though that’s how they are supposed to look. You’d have to be a grade A moron to set out to design a shirt to be worn by elite athletes that instantly become drenched in sweat.

    Think Chelsea are saving up for this summer. But more likely he will go to City for about £5m as there is some special release clause only they know about.

    Don’t know where to put it but I bloody love these things. Can they be real or is someone throwing them together with AI after the game has happened?

    Had to double check which game this was in reference to which says it all really. He’s so good so consistently it’s very easy to take it for granted but we should savour every game this man plays for us.

    Want to see him on the right. He's played 8 games out of 230 odd in his career on the left before he came here.

    I think main problem with Chambers is he needs to be playing consistently. When he does that he can be a relatively solid pair of hands. Not great by any means but as other have said he is a lower PL/upper Championship standard player. Not a trainwreck like Olsen. However when he comes in for the odd game once every few months he does look awful and seems to make mistake after mistake. Later in game he looked like someone who's confidence had fully gone and he wanted to be taken off. He doesnt suit being a backup at all in my view. If I was him I'd be doing everything I could to make a move elsewhere work for all parties.

    Great news and I know the wait is agonising but good rule of thumb is if its bad news you tend to find out very quickly.

    So where the Trinity concourse is fine. Presumably it’s fine that’s it’s impossible to get a drink or anything else within 15 of half time. If they sorted that out they’d dwarf the money they make from Terrace View for example.

    He’s very good so sorry to nitpick and don’t think it massively matters but I do think he’s bad at defending. When we signed him it was labelled as a weakness and backed up by the stats where he made 1 tackle every 2 games in Germany. I’ve been watching that aspect of his play and I’m not sure he’s made a successful tackle for us yet in 5 games.

    Exactly same thing happened to one my friends. He’s gone completely mad where you can really have a conversation with him anymore.

    Yeah Watkins definitely screwed him over there. VERY early days but does look like he can be a bit myopic at times. Made all the more clear by being on the same pitch as Diaby who makes a good decision 9/10 times. That said Zaniolo seems much more of a direct threat so its good to have different kinds of attacking options. Be interesting to see him on the left. Feel its difficult for him to shoot when playing on left which seems to be one of his main strengths. Overall I thought it was a very encouraging first start. Clearly got the tools to be successful in this league.

    Keep seeing that he is being abused by the media but I’ve not seen anything other than the odd pundit saying they don’t think he should be playing. Isn’t that their job. Such a weird thing to do to make this into such a big issue. What an odd hill to choose to die on. I swear all England managers go mad in the end.

    You’ve never seen a man so giddy with the thought of watching 5hrs of HSK Zrinjski Mostar videos. I never thought I’d meet someone who clearly loves football more than me but I have to admit defeat.

    He says he’s never seen a player being treated by the media before. That might be true. But has a player ever been consistently in the England team without playing for their club for this long. I’d argue that’s also unprecedented and would be an interesting follow up question for any journalist who cared to call Southgate on his own BS.
