  1. I think Bailey might be becoming the player we hoped Bailey would be!
  2. @Awol Do you have any idea of the numbers of people involved in Hamas? And are they mostly Palestinians or are they made up of Arabs against Israel from many different countries?
  3. Movement is medicine so absolutley it will help to build physical and mental health. Progression is all about consistency.
  4. I’d be surprised. He didn’t start all the time at the end of last season in the great run for Europe and obviously not in this run this season either. So we can not play him and still do pretty well. If everyone is fit you dropping McGinn, Ramsey or Diaby to get him in the side?
  5. I've also beaten Isabelle - which also took me ages. Can't get anywhere near Li though she is like a fortress. I've started just beating Emir everyday to build my confidence as I lose so many games consecutively against my limit opponents it starts to knock your confidence. Also set a time limit in the evenings as I started seeing chess constantly when I was trying to sleep.
  6. His game intelligence is fantastic - really shows that he has played plenty of high level European football. Not the tricky winger I was expecting but been a pleasant surprise for all of us really. Feels like he's been involved in so many more goals than his current goals/assists tally suggests. Think he's been the assist to the assister plenty.
  7. Sounds fair enough, be interesting to see if Hamas accepts this deal!
  8. City have won 21 consecutive home games across all competitions. Would be impressive if they weren't massive cheats.
  9. I wish we had a song for him based on Easy by Lionel Ritchie. Think it would fit him so perfectly. I wish it so much I’ve been calling him Easy Konsa in my head for some time now.
  10. Been anxious about this game all week, really didn’t want to lose the home run but very aware of what a good side West Ham are the moment. Wondering if Unai will ever help me to unlearn the in built Villa knowledge that it’ll all end in tears. At the moment it’s starting to look quite irrational.
  11. Tbh I was filling in the survey and I realised I really don’t give a …. about the badge. It’s like choosing cushions. Who cares. Hope everyone who does care gets something they want.
  12. Pretty much nails it, add in some arguments about made up sky gods and who “owns” a piece of land and you’ve got a seemingly never ending recipe for horror. It’ll get worse, it’ll get better for a bit, I’ll get worse again etc etc Feels like a good few centuries to go on this yet. Still not that bright we humans.
  13. No doubt Jack is by far the better player. Saw a video of his Villa highlights the other day and brought back a lot of memories. He hasn’t been that player for several years now. I do wonder whether that just springs back if he moved to another club and was played with more freedom. My guess is probably not. Most players career trajectories go up and then down, can’t think of many rollercoasters although I’m sure it does happen.
  14. Understand the frustration from some but he's come very very close to scoring in every single game he has played for us. He's causing problems, hopefully it'll start to come for him.
  15. How on earth was it not a pen? Have I missed something? Did they discuss it afterwards? Couldn’t have been any clearer.
  16. It’s not a bad point it was a very competitive derby type game. , I’m a little frustrated we didn’t win because we had some great chances in first half then again at the end, clear as daylight pen as well. Annoying that we were very mediocre for first 30 mins of second half but few of them looked a bit leggy.
  17. I know what you mean, in life I’m a very optimistic person but when it comes to Villa it’s the only rational response to a lifetime of (mostly) disappointment. For that reason it’s difficult to believe this can continue. But I am enjoying consistently being proven wrong by Unai.
  18. We need to do a Wolverine style graft with some of the stuff flowing through Watkinses bones.
  19. Tielemans is the backup to Luiz, people might not be bought into him yet (and I definitely get that after Everton) but thats the role he's been brought in to do. I dont think that is a role we will be looking at filling, though I get your point that the team drops several levels without Luiz in it. Hopefully Tielemans can get up to speed in time. Didnt think he was all bad last night, few sloppy moments but plenty of good mixed in with the bad at least.
  20. Its a fair point but on the other hand Unai is probably thinking I've only got 45mins of Watkins, Luiz and Cash do I want that used in first half or against a tiring team in second half. You can see the thinking. The back up players are frustrating at the moment but I think the biggest issue is most of them havent played together much. Hoping they will get better in time because fact is we need them. All well and good saying lets play first team but we cant do that every single game.
  21. Bournemouth for me. We are in Europe it has to be done.
  22. Takes a deflection but original shot was on target so no own goal. Check complete.
