Managed to drop 2.5lbs this week and now down to 13st 1lb so only 1lb off my target weight. Really happy with that. Speaking from the head not the heart I'd say get rid of them. I did with 90% of what I had and I think since then I've watched only a handful of what I have left. We stream everything nowadays (including all TV/terrestrial channels) and it works absolutely fine. When I do buy films nowadays it's a digital copy (and it's usually a kid's film). You won't have time to watch them when the baby is here and if your misses is anything like mine it'll be another thing for her to get at you with. Also, you will definitely need the space, however much room you think a kid takes up triple it. Agree with what you are saying about NFT's but I'd argue that even the original physical piece of art is over inflated in price and can be easily copied. The only difference between an original and a print is knowing yours was originally done by the famous person. The print still looks exactly the same.

The car park at the kids school has been relaid twice since September and is yet again full of potholes. All caused by the sheer volume of 4x4s that fly through it at crazy speeds. School run is absolute carnage.

My lad has never seen any Marvel movies or cartoons but is adamant he loves Spiderman. I think the brand type players get talked about in the same way for kids.

The last 30 years have been a big push on the player marketing side. Led by players like Beckham, Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar and now you have Mbappe and Haaland too. They created brands as big as some clubs, bigger in some cases. You can see some of this in how Villa are portrayed in the media now being largely about Gerrard and not the actual club. This and the rise of international fans in new markets like Asia, Africa and America who are more plastic and shift their allegiance. Look how many fans we gained online when Trez or Samatta joined. The games changing and not necessarily for the better.
