Used my FH after Son went down and Ronnie was first flagged to ditch the - 8 I was already on bringing them in. Think I'm on the 4th version of my FH and have to start again now. Struggling to find the fun. Feels more like work then a game at this point. -

Think I've pretty much settled on my two starting words. Might mix the 2nd up a bit depending what the 1st brings but gives me all the vowels and several common consonants. I'm enjoying the challenge and getting the brain working. Wordle 209 5/6

The in laws live near the airport so we used to get dropped off whenever we went away (a few years now with Covid nonsense). Will bear that in mind if we manage to get away this year.

You used to be able to pick up and drop off outside the train station at Manchester Airport and then a quick walk into the terminals. Not sure if you were actually allowed to though.

West Ham boys putting me up to 86 for the week and a nice 23k green back to top 50k. Finally ending the 4 weeks of red. Hoped to have been a bit better and be a bit closer to 100 points but seems to have been a bad week all round. Think I'm definitely using FH this week as team's decimated. -

Agree with the points you make but sadly I doubt he will be the highest paid player in the league in 4 years time. Unless something changes I can see wages shooting up. If he gets this and then Haaland (or similar) signs for City, United or Chelsea they'll want compatible or more money.

It's a strategy and would help with some quick wins, but it's limiting and potentially increases chances of losing as you don't eliminate as many options. You can get to the final guess and have a 50/50 call on two letters which you might have been able to avoid if you'd used them earlier.

Unless you're into ancient civilisations the one use is pretty obscure. There's 2 fairly common ones though with 4 different vowels. Happy to try and offer a clue to them if you want.

Same here with 3 goes and technique. Except my first word has 4 vowels in. Just struggled with the ordering and then the last two letters today. Think I had a mental blank.

Agreed. I had 3 yellow after my first guess but was scratching my head until the 5th.

Big jump from 3 to 4 there to get it. Nicely done. I've done 2 days so far and need to do today's. Enjoying it and gets the brain firing.

Most places prohibit vaping indoors. I'd also challenge on the "doesn't smell like crap" bit as I can't stand it, giant cloud of chemicals and usually very saccharine.

Brought Gray in for Everton's DGW and Leicester have just got the 2nd game called off ffs. Least they play Norwich next and have a few fixtures to fit in so not completely wasted transfer. -

I never think of VT as social media. Possibly because the people on here are actually quite nice and social people and not insane, cave dwelling, bottom feeding gits. But then I guess I never really go into On Topic anymore.
