  1. This is it though, he wasn't a Leicester fan who liked Mbappe. He was a Mbappe fan who liked Leicester. It's swapped round from what it used to be.
  2. £500,000 of taxpayer money to send Liz Truss to Australia is absolutely fine by me. If she'd stayed there.
  3. I'm surprised by how often people are able to jump from about 1 green and 1 yellow to 5 green. There's so many options available from there, how are they narrowing it down?
  4. Saw my 9 year old nephew at Christmas and he was in a new Leicester shirt. He then told me he supports whatever team Mbappe will play for. Sadly this is the future, it's all about the flashy player and not the actual team anymore. That's why Jack was worth buying for them.
  5. I assume that setting it up in the shed is a no go then? Of the first two, if you can afford it I'd get the first. Compared to some of the options around it's not that expensive and as they say 'buy cheap, buy twice'. The one I bought was a tad more expensive then that and whilst it's good, sometimes I do wish I had a better version. Whichever one you do buy let us know your thoughts on it when you've had it a while. Peleton does sound good but the price puts me off. I also can never hear about it and not think about this video.
  6. Wordle 221 6/6 Stupid game. Had no luck on my guesses today. Had eliminated 2/3s of the alphabet and only had 1 green and 2 yellows. Took a wild swing based off the random letters I had left and got lucky.
  7. Yup. But even a pound a week can be difficult at times especially the longer into it and lower your body fat percentage is. Some weeks you'll plateau (especially if you've started aggressively and don't have much room to drop more calories), some weeks you might have put a little muscle on and be doing body recomp. Remember it's a marathon and not a sprint. Allowing one week for each pound of fat is sensible as you say. This could be 30 or 40 weeks depending how much you have to lose. The one bit that upping the exercise does help with is allowing you more calories to eat each day. I'd be on 2000 a day without exercising but can get that to 2750 most days by doing a few hours of exercise (understand not everyone can). This allows me to eat a lot more and get my macro's in, which helps with sleep and recovery.
  8. https://theskinnyfoodco.com/ They have a sale on at the moment if people are wanting low sugar/low calorie treats. I've tried a few of there things and they're okay (not as good as a normal bar or Ketchup etc but still nice).
  9. The protein bar is the premium product as you say a sit has a lot more to it in terms of macros. It's more difficult to produce and doesn't benefit from larger scale manufacturing like a dairy milk would. There are options out there if people want a sweet treat. Things like zero calorie syrups you can add to porridge or something or healthy/protein yoghurts aren't overly expensive. However, I'm not convinced that people need to have a treat every day, especially when trying to lose weight. Have an apple or something instead.
  10. Then don't buy organic. Is it better for you? Yes. Is it necessary for healthy eating? No. If you're desperate for a sweet treat snack then try going somewhere like B&M to buy some protein bars. I really like the Scismx range and they're about £1 each. Sounds a lot but it's basically what a chocolate bar costs. It also gives about 15g of protein and less than 1g of sugar (try to ignore all the artificial sweeteners that'll be rotting your insides).
  11. It just depends on the context and what they're trying to achieve. He got all the decisions that would put money in his and his mates pockets and give them more leeway to do whatever they want completely rigtt (for them). Nothing else really matters to them.
  12. Vegetables are healthy food and aren't expensive, especially if you buy the irregular ones. Stock up on mushrooms, carrots, onions and the like. They're low sugar, low calorie and filling.
  13. I quite like the idea of the walking treadmill as it's generally low impact and a really easy way to spike your daily low stress cardio which is great for fat loss. I have a cross trainer / bike in my home gym which is great and gets 30-60 minutes a day. However, it does take up a fair bit of space so probably wouldn't work for you. Have you considered one of those attachments that turns a normal bike into a stationery one? If you find anything that is collapsible let us know.
  14. Weighed myself for the first time in about 10 weeks and just before a chest infection and injury stopped me exercising. That period also includes Christmas where my diet fell apart. Somehow I've actually lost a kilo. I think that's mostly muscle though as the belly is definitely bigger than it was.
  15. You can buy walking treadmills that fold up. Never tried one but a previous colleague loved theirs and used to do walking meetings on it.
  16. Wasn't aware he was until I read it. He even said he didn't care if he died from it. He was also a Trump supporting, climate change denier. Will try to separate his songs from his beliefs.
  17. Made the mistake of reading Meat Loaf's Wikipedia page earlier. Love his songs but really disagree with a lot of his opinions.
  18. You should try a shower gel bar. All the benefits of a soap bar but froffs up like shower gel. Something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Shower-Blocks-Sandalwood-Plastic-Moisturising/dp/B08L251KWN
  19. 42 points for me and a 20k green back up to 42k. Dalot with 9 is stuck on the bench but never mind.
  20. 22 from 8 with a 10k green. Still have Jota as Cpt to go (Dennis as vice so he better play) and Dalot as first sub if TAA doesn't play (doubtful). Very weird week.
  21. Day 54 of the archive must go down as a classic for multiple reasons.
