Little rant. I'm starting to feel like it's the first 'unfair' souls game, mainly due to enemy placement and design. This isn't an opinion because of any sort of rage quitting but just an observation. It feels to me like they've designed areas to be traps and you'll be punished for playing defensively as enemies will just relentlessly ambush you, in situations where you're already facing a tough enemy. There are lots of exploding mechanics, which come from out of nowhere which you have no control over. I've also had to just mindlessly run through areas which seem to be designed for you to do that. It's all a bit panicky and unpredictable. So many situations I've played defensively but really solid and just been unfairly one shotted from out the blue, which is fairly uncharacteristic of the series. Also, it feels as though enemies don't abide by the same armour rules as you do. Cloth wearing enemies don't seem to stagger anywhere near as much as they should and heavy armour enemies seem to have unlimited stamina, making one on one fights unbalanced. I dunno, maybe in a few days I'll look back and feel like I was wrong but so far it's how I feel.

I found it a bit frustrating that I kept finding armour sets but they were just the starting sets from other classes, which aren't an upgrade and felt like I wasn't progressing my character. However, I seem to have got to a point now where I'm regularly finding excellent upgrades (thank god), this is one hell of a challenging souls game, it's absolutely brutal. The next thing I need to do is find out how the hell to get large titanite shards. I think one of the main reasons it seems more difficult than the last two is that weapon upgrading isn't as freely available from the start of the game. I don't have any problems with that though. It felt great working hard to have a powerful weapon drop that i really feel comfortable using.

He's absolutely finished here. Unfortunately he'll just have to run his contract down as nobody in their right mind would go near him. Even if he was to get himself in decent shape he would barely offer anything in the Championship. Was such a bad idea giving him that last contract.

It almost seems like the club has released this info on purpose to embarrass him.

For anyone not sure whether or not to get it on pc mine runs like a dream just with a geforce 750ti, the game looks absolutely incredible. The art style/aesthetic is just another level, I wasn't expecting such a leap from the last game. I'd felt a little Dark Souled out before and actually considered not buying it but from the five hours or so that i've played I'm so glad I got it. There's so much here to explore and get stuck in to. There's already such variety in enemies and attack patterns to learn, it's almost overwhelming. Still too early to give any real impressions but certainly seems as though it'll be the ending to the souls series that everyone wanted.

I think that's the worst Villa team I've ever seen.

It's important that we not only show Lerner but the footballing world that we won't tolerate what is going on. Other fans of other clubs may just sit on their hands and let their clubs sleepwalk into the lower divisions, but we won't accept that. I think it's just a message to the board or even any potential owners that we won't sit back, shut up and be dictated. The protest shows a strong bond of a club that might be dead on the pitch but not in the stands. The spirit of this great club is still alive.

Obviously time will tell how much of a difference things are under the new board. I do feel a hell of a lot more confident going into next season with people that understand the footballing side a lot better.

I just came back today! Went from Thursday to Monday. Stayed in downtown Reykjavik, easy access to everywhere around the city. Unfortunately the weather was pretty dreadful for us, we weren't able to see the northern lights but it didn't dishearten us; it's such a beautiful country we made the most of what we could do. Blue Lagoon was good fun. Really odd sights seeing people propped up the water bar covered in mud masks. Our golden circle tour was also cancelled on the last day (we booked with a smaller company), however Reykjavik Excursions just go everyday, regardless of weather. It got pretty choppy up the mountain on the way there, ha. Absolutely brilliant fun though. There's really interesting museums around the city explaining the Viking heritage; amazing views from the harbour and we randomly walked into the concert hall as hundreds of people burst out into song and playing trumpets, something I won't forget in a hurry. A really interesting culture and lovely people. It is very expensive but I really recommend it.

I can't really do anything but that's purely because I can't afford to go to much games these days, football has outpriced me and only get down about 4-5 times a season. I think OTDO74 is a good idea, because fan power is important and if pushed and pushed will work to the point where changes will be made but ultimately nothing will change until Lerner sells because he doesn't know what he's doing. You might as well put a cat in charge. The only thing we can all hope is that he sells to somebody who knows how to stabilise and do a decent job running a football club, and that just seems long a long way off. So, that's just it for me. Wait for a decent investor, which may take many years.

It's fairly positive news if anything, for the future. Clutching at straws a bit here.

First impressions: my God, it's good.

I got my first tattoo on Monday. Didn't know what to expect pain wise, thought it felt like that weird pain of having a needle but more constant. My girlfriend, who also had one at the same time said hers felt completely different, like she was being scratched. Anyway, not important, ha. I'm not a tattoo person in general or into the tattooing culture but I already feel like I want more. It's an odd thing.
