  1. It's the third time he's made the bench, today, against Lille, and also against Chelsea in the FA Cup, he's a left-back in the main, so has essentially come in for the injured Moreno. He signed his first professional contract a week or so back, and Mark Harrison spoke of him transitioning to first team football, so I suspect we will be looking to find a loan for him next season, hopefully other clubs seeing that Emery thinks he's good enough for our bench will help with that.
  2. Coventry can still catch West Brom, so both of those teams still have something to play for.
  3. Wednesday back in front, hopefully they can hang onto the lead this time
  4. Also, rightly or wrongly, he won't even be considered for the England job, if all else fails in terms of big name main targets, they will just turn to someone who has worked in the system such as Steve Cooper or Lee Carsley
  5. No one was expecting Norwich to get automatic promotion last season, unless they were completely ignorant of their squad and the squads of the other teams in the Championship, it was nowhere near as good as the likes of Middlesbrough's and Burnley's, it wasn't even as good as Sheffield United's who overachieved in getting automatic promotion, Coventry and Sunderland both had better players as well, it was a top six at best squad, you only have to look where they finished and where they are this season ot see that that much is pretty obvious
  6. Luton and Sheffield United both managed to massively overachived, but just because they did so, it doesn't mean that other teams that didn't overachieve failed. Plus when Norwich sacked Smith, they were above Luton in the table
  7. The idea that he was some sort of massive failure at Norwich is one of the biggest myths about him going, they were fifth after twenty-four games when he was sacked, they were in no position to be expecting any more than that because their squad simply wasn't good enough, if anything you could say he was overachieving by having them that high, they finished the season in thirteenth
  8. I imagine McGinn and Tielemans will be midfield two for Bournemouth, after how well they did against Arsenal, if they show signs of tiring, then we can rotate
  9. We usually rotate our U21 goalkeepers from game to game, which are James Wright, Filip Marschall, Viljami Sinisalo, and Oliwier Zych, but three of those are out on loan at the moment, so I think we just brought in a stop-gap goalkeeper for that reason, without him, James Wright would be our only available U21 goalkeeper There's also Sam Proctor, who has proven he can play at U21 level and very well, and has also been part of the first team squad this sason, but have to remember with him he's only recently turned seventeen, and has had a few injuries, so his game time probably being managed I don't think he's even contracted to the club, wouldn't surprise me if we've just agreed to give him some experience and help with his development ahead of a move to Real Union next season, we're going to be getting a lot of advantages from the partnerships with other 'V Sports' clubs, taking their best players, them giving our prospects loan time and so on, only fair that we also help them in similar ways when possible, He's only played four games, and to be fair doesn't look that bad at all from what I've seen, decent shot-stopper and has good distribution
  10. Wolves could be in for a tough time looking at the team they've had to put out
  11. Watched some of the game whilst it was halftime in the other matches, Rotherham are giving it a good go, much better than what I saw from Coventry last week
  12. Leicester winning 2-0 but West Brom could have easily scored five or more goals
  13. Bournemouth have won just four of their last fourteen, and those wins came against, Burnley, Luton, Everton, and Crystal Palace, Away from home they've only beat Sheffield United, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, and Manchester United. They had a good run from the end of October up until the end of Decemember, which has essentially saved them from a relegation battle But ultimatley they're where they are in the table for a reason, and it's a game in normal circumstances we should win if we perform well But of course having played Arsenal and Lille already this week it's not normal circumstances, so will have to see how we cope
  14. At this moment sounded like even Lucy Ward was criticical of the commentator herself
  15. He worked in incredibly hard against Arsenal, his workrate was off the edge, so I think that would have taken a lot ouf him as well as us as a team. So just had to get the job done today by any means, that we did do so after beating Arsenal just a few days ago spells a brilliant week for us so far
  16. Yannick (Quentin Dupieux) - Very entertaining film, enjoyed it Heaven Is Still Far Away (Ryūsuke Hamaguchi) - Interesting idea for a film, pretty good
  17. This idea that we plucked him from obscurity isn't really true, he had played the last nine games of Arsenal's league season and was also playing in Europe and the FA Cup for them, he played in the FA Cup Final that Arsenal won, and he was getting a lot praise for his performances at the time, and when we were first linked the reaction was very positive because of how well he had been doing, also it was reported that Arsenal only sold him because of FFP reasons, and the most obvious choice was one of their two keepers, because they had two good ones at the time, I remember looking on one of their forums and a number of them wanted to keep him instead of Leno Of course I don't think anyone could have predicted he would do as well as he has done for us and Argentina, but it wasn't as if we spent £20m on some random Arsenal squad player
  18. He didn't have a good game, but none of our attackers did until we conceded second goal, and that was due to the way we set up, as in we were sitting back for much of the match, it wasn't a game for the attackers. Was only three league games ago that he provied assist for Zaniolo to rescue a point against West Ham and scored and assisted against Wolves to help us win that
  19. Lost 6-0 to Brighton at Bodymoor, doesn't get any easier on Saturday as they play Arsenal. Form of U18s usually drops in the second half the season as a number of players move up to the U21s. Still some very promising players as individuals in that group though, I remembe Munroe playing for our U18s and they were getting battered every week, he's come on leaps and bounds this season and made first team bench on a few occassions
  20. I saw that interview and thought the same thing, unless she just meant the rest of her loan and chose the wrong word whilst being interviewed on the spot. We need a bigger squad next season, so I don't think she would be a bad signing, as long as it's alongside some more quality

    Matty Cash

Rescued the game for us and our chances of winning a trophy, very grateful for that
