  1. It was Paul Tait who scouted him for West Bromwich Albion
  2. Chelsea probably going to take it out on us in the week There was a lot of talk of Skinner getting the sack, but now has a chance of winning Manchester United their first major honour
  3. We have missed Ramsey, we've missed the defensive work he does on that left hand side and general midfield play that goes so underrated. With best Ramsey we would have more points. Rogers is doing superbly though and the way he's going will get plenty of game time in the team with Ramsey, JR on the left and MR in the Number ten area
  4. He only turned nineteen a couple of months ago and this is his first loan move, that he went straight to the Championship shows how highly rated he is, Plymouth have extremely good recruitment, trust ma they know. Doesn't mean he's guaranteed to make it with us, but you can put him in a similar category to the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Iroegbunam, Philogene, and so on as they were at a similar age, if he doesn't make it with us, there's a good chance we will make a decent profit on him
  5. Well done lads, but just as if we'd have lost and Spurs had have won, I would still think we have a chance for fourth, as they would only be three points ahead, now that the opposite has happened and we're three points ahead of them, they can still get fourth, so we've still got a lot of hard work to do, but today's result just give us a lot of confidence for the remaining games
  6. I said in pre match thread that Arsenal could be due a bad result after winning ten of the last eleven and drawing away to Manchester City, thankfully that was to be the case. Such a great result, will hopefully help us get some of our previous confidence back, no need to fear any of our remaining fixtures after a win like that
  7. I've just looked at Arsenal's form, they've won ten of the last eleven, the only team they dropped points to in that time is Manchester City, and even that was a very respectable away draw. So that makes the task even more daunting, although when I see runs like that it does make me wonder if the team in question is due a bad result
  8. People setting themselves up for disappointment if they can't accept Arsenal are very likely to beat us, what they've done in past seasons doesn't mean anything, this season in the here and now they can go top of the league with a win today and have only lost once at home all season, they're also playing a team with three of it's starting midfielders, Ramsey, Kamara, and Luiz, injured or suspended Think we will lose today isn't being particularly negative, Arsenal would be favorites against most teams, if not all at home, and even more so if they team they were playing had the kind of injuries we have But as above Newcastle beating Spurs means defeat today won't be too damaging to our season as an whole, in fact whatever happens today league table won't look as bad as many might have imagined before the weekend, we can still get fourth because our other games won't be anywhere near as tough as today, the Lille game coming so soon is a good thing too, so we can quickly move on, and then we have a very winnable game next weekend against Bournemouth
  9. I think this could very well be one of our biggest defeats of the season, which won't be nice of course, but whatever happens it won't have been the worst weekend for us in terms of our challenge to get fourth, just by virtue of the fact that Newcastle beat Spurs, which means even if we lose today we will be in the same position relative to Spurs as we would be if both we and them had won this weekend

Harvey Vale is on loan Bristol Rovers, no idea how he's doing

    Chelsea

They would probably get a decent fee for Omari Hutchinson, seven goals and six assists for Ipswich, and is doing well besides those stats, always looks a constant threat. Wouldn't surprise me if they got between fifteen and twenty million for him. Edit he only has a year left on his contract, so maybe give him a new deal, let Ipswich have him for another year in the Prem, and then sell him next summer, when he might worth even more
  12. I don't remember that at all, but when we beat Newcastle last season, we had seven games left to play and were only six points behind them
  13. Eighteen points left to play for I was getting the Championship and Premier League mixed up, but same difference, the North East outfit aren't making up ten points with only six games left, their fixtures aren't even as easy as are being made out anyway, they could easily lose away to Palace, Brenford, and Manchester Unted
  14. Newcastle are no threat whatsoever, they're ten points behind with only eighteen points to play for, if it was the other way around and we were ten points behind them with six games left, not one person would be suggesting that we could catch them. The only team that are a threat to us are Spurs
  15. He might be legitimate in a business sense, that seems to be the case, but the more I see of that Wagner the more he reminds me of a XIa type in terms of personality, other than Delia Smith, real serious owners don't go around doing crazy stuff like that, they stay quiet in the background

I think no doubt they would take him back, I'd be surprised if they haven't already asked, but there will be competition for his signature from other League One clubs and possibly Championship. Would be great if Rico could get another move there next season, no idea if he's done enough to earn that, but would be some progression for him from where he was at the start of this season
  17. Bournemouth not winning this game might not be such a bad thing for us, we don't want them too confident coming into our game
  18. Last year the final was at Bescot, the season before that it was at Villa Park, whether it's possible to play it at Villa Park this year I'm not sure, maybe it has to be a neutral ground, but I'm pretty sure the Racing Club Warwick players wouldn't mind.
  19. Fulham might keep Stansfield, if they do sell him, there will probably be other PL interest, he won't be cheap either, going rate for an England U21 forward is £20m plus. Will take much more than him to improve these, they're in a relegation battle with him in the team. They need pretty much a new team to have any chance of a promotion challenge next season, they're probably a few seasons way from that, and that's if they do well in the transfer market in the meantime, from what I've seen from Wagner and Cook can see them going for attention grabbing signings over a more sensible approach
  20. There's still hope, they're only a point clear with three games left to play small heath: Rotherham (a), Huddersfield (a), Norwich (h) Wednesday: Blackburn (a), West Brom (h), Sunderland (a) Huddersfield: Swansea (h), small heath (h) Ipswich (a) Looking at those they're probably favorites now, but whilst it's still as close as it is nothing ca be ruled out
  21. There is already some overnight bedrooms at Boodymoor but they're very basic. Our former women's player Ruesha Littlejohn showed them in one of her youtube vlogs
  22. This is a quote from Chris Heck "We are going to do a lot of renovation at Bodymoor Heath to continue building our academy, our womens programme, to build more for our first-team and be more attractive to bring in talent around the world."
  23. Doesn't really surprise me, people seemed to be taking it for granted that Coventry will beat them, but these always seem to fluke one or two wins a season in games that they're expected to lose, and as was shown when they played Preston if a team doesn't turn up against them then they can still fluke a win, also Coventry's away record isn't that great. Hopefully Coventry can find a way back into the game, but having watched some it they're not looking great
