  1. He might be legitimate in a business sense, that seems to be the case, but the more I see of that Wagner the more he reminds me of a XIa type in terms of personality, other than Delia Smith, real serious owners don't go around doing crazy stuff like that, they stay quiet in the background

    Louie Barry

I think no doubt they would take him back, I'd be surprised if they haven't already asked, but there will be competition for his signature from other League One clubs and possibly Championship. Would be great if Rico could get another move there next season, no idea if he's done enough to earn that, but would be some progression for him from where he was at the start of this season
  3. Bournemouth not winning this game might not be such a bad thing for us, we don't want them too confident coming into our game
  4. Last year the final was at Bescot, the season before that it was at Villa Park, whether it's possible to play it at Villa Park this year I'm not sure, maybe it has to be a neutral ground, but I'm pretty sure the Racing Club Warwick players wouldn't mind.
  5. Fulham might keep Stansfield, if they do sell him, there will probably be other PL interest, he won't be cheap either, going rate for an England U21 forward is £20m plus. Will take much more than him to improve these, they're in a relegation battle with him in the team. They need pretty much a new team to have any chance of a promotion challenge next season, they're probably a few seasons way from that, and that's if they do well in the transfer market in the meantime, from what I've seen from Wagner and Cook can see them going for attention grabbing signings over a more sensible approach
  6. There's still hope, they're only a point clear with three games left to play small heath: Rotherham (a), Huddersfield (a), Norwich (h) Wednesday: Blackburn (a), West Brom (h), Sunderland (a) Huddersfield: Swansea (h), small heath (h) Ipswich (a) Looking at those they're probably favorites now, but whilst it's still as close as it is nothing ca be ruled out
  7. There is already some overnight bedrooms at Boodymoor but they're very basic. Our former women's player Ruesha Littlejohn showed them in one of her youtube vlogs
  8. Correction they've made a triple sub but no O'Hare
  9. This is a quote from Chris Heck "We are going to do a lot of renovation at Bodymoor Heath to continue building our academy, our womens programme, to build more for our first-team and be more attractive to bring in talent around the world."
  10. Doesn't really surprise me, people seemed to be taking it for granted that Coventry will beat them, but these always seem to fluke one or two wins a season in games that they're expected to lose, and as was shown when they played Preston if a team doesn't turn up against them then they can still fluke a win, also Coventry's away record isn't that great. Hopefully Coventry can find a way back into the game, but having watched some it they're not looking great
  11. This result if it stays like this almost as good as a win for us, might even have a bearing on what team we put out tomorrow against Arsenal
  12. If Newcastle get some more goals without reply we could potentially lose tomorrow and still stay fourth
  13. Leicester form has been poor of late, just ten points from the last ten games including tonight, only Blackburn, Huddersfield, Sunderland, small heath, and Rotherham have been in worse form over the same period. Big chance for Leeds and Ipswich who both have home games tomorrow. Would rather Southampton come up with Ipswich rather than Leeds or Leicester, it's a long shot, but they've still got a slight chance based on them having two games in hand and also having to play both Leeds and Leicester
  14. Finley Munroe signed his first professional contract today, Mark Harrison speaks of him transitioning to senior football in his little write up thing that he does when an academy player signs a contract, so I think good chance we will be seeing him go out on loan next season
  15. Overall I thought we played well, at times very well, I thought all the players did pretty well individually too, Borland is seriously impressive, I watch him and think if he wasn't so small he might do for the first team at the moment with the midfield shortage, Wilson I thought was great too in the withdrawn striker role, almost similar to how Kane plays, Kadan Young had some real standout moments, Jimoh-Aloba had some good moments too as he got more involved, Triston Rowe was very good as usual
  16. There is actually a legitimate reason related to the HKSE as to why they haven't bought the total shareholding yet, but they have full control and eventually will have full ownership
  17. Not playing as well as we can, too many wasted long balls because we're trying too hard to make the killer pass, if we just keep possession and stay patient this is a game we should be winning relativley comfortably. Need to get Jimoh-Aloba more involved
  18. It will probably be Young on the left, Wilson through the middle, and Moore on the right, either that or Moore and Wilson as a front two, but I would guess moore on the right more likely as he's played there a number of times before
  19. New stadium for the women and academy to play at akin to what Manchester City have, more likely than a new main stadium. infrastructure can mean anything, it could be work on Bodymoor Heath, something Heck has already said will happen, but also it could relate to infrastructure at one of V Sports other teams, and probably a bunch of other possibilities man
  20. At these fans forums Wagner and Cook have been telling their fans to not listen to the haters in reference to fans of other clubs and parts of the media, and saying it will only get worse the more succesful they become, Wagner even had 'FEA' as part of his presentation the other day, and made a big deal of it meaning 'F*** Em All' again in reference to the haters and doubters, all seems very propagandary to me, as if they're trying to condition their fans into not believing any media criticism that might come, also interesting to see them say there are going to be some decisions with regards to St Andrews that might not be popular, but their fans have to trust them, they're apparently spending a lot of money on it, despite the proposed ground move He's a legit operator so it seems, they've partnered up with Oak View Group, got Tom Brady on board, Nike going to be making bespoke kits for them over the next two season, they've already done a lot of work on their training ground and stadium, I think it was something like £15m on the stadium with a further £20m planned before next season, and so and so on, so not saying he's some Tony Xia type me wouldn't have a clue about that anyway, but if was a fan of theirs I'd be slightly concerned by the amount of talking he does, usually the real besty owners just stay quiet in the background
  21. I wonder if we would ever consider building a small stadium for the women/academy as Manchester City did for their women/academy teams with 'The Joie Stadium', Chris Heck did say that further work was planned for Bodymoor to specifically help with the academy and women's programs, and the women's team are referenced in all the Atairos announcements, but whether it would even be feasible I don't know. Whatever they've got planned will be interesting to see
  22. Tonight's game is now being advertised as being shown on VillaTV
