    The NSWE Board

All three new directors have been appointed to all Villa related companies listed on companies house, mens team, the womens team, the stadium, and the foundation
  2. Just looking at their away record, it's the second worst in the league, just three wins and twelve points I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility that Huddersfield and even Rotherham could beat them. Need Rotherham to be motivated for it though, season over for them, and they might have it somewhere in their minds that it would be better to be relegated with some of the other teams who would perhaps provied less competition for promotion from League One next season
  3. I watched Gary Neville video reaction thing on youtube, and he pointed out that Arsenal losing to us was very different to Liverpool losing to Palace, essentially because we're obviously a good team with a good manager, he also said Arsenal played well, which I think he's right about, we just defended incredibly well first half, and had a plan that worked and in the end deserved our win, but it wasn't because Arsenal bottled it or whatever, as they perhaps have done in the past, if they'd have played like they did yesterday against most teams it would have been a fairly comfortable win
  4. Sarah helped lead the acquisition, ownership syndication and restructuring of the Milwaukee Bucks for Fortress owner, Wes Edens, and co-owner, Marc Lasry. Following the acquisition of the team, Sarah moved to Milwaukee to work on the development of a 725,000 SF arena and 20 acres of surrounding mixed use development. gobrightline
  5. Atairos' investment is in V Sports but the recent directorial appointments are to Aston Villa and all it's related companies, including NSWE Stadium Limited, 1874 Developments Limited, the women's team, and so on, I think there's about ten of them on companies house
  6. Orascom is owned by the Sawiris family
  7. Arsenal should give Spurs a tough game, but we have to look after ourselves, Lille and Bournemouth going to be tough games, in theory we should be favorites against Bournemouth, this week will have taken a lot out of us going into that game, and we have at tims stumbled ths season when we're expected to win, but if we play as well as we can do, then we should give ourselves a chance
  8. I don't think Arsenal were that bad, in fact first half they were very good, if they play like that against most teams they would have had the game won by halftime, because some of their passing and movement was out of this world, they have battered other teams playing like that, but where we played very well ourselves that first half was how well we did defensively, especailly closing them down, and making sure they had as little space in and around the box as possible, of course they had a few chances but they're a top team, so they wlll always create a few opportunities, second half we were better and basically took control of the game, but as Gary Neville said, this wasn't the Arsenal of last season, bottling it at the crucial stage, they just faced a very good team and was a masterclass by Emery in how he set us up, so I think they can and probably will give Spurs a very good game
  9. Hard to say, they're both rated decently, hence playing in the Championship at such young ages, both have gone to struggling teams where it's always tough for loan players to shine, so have to bear that in mind as well, having seen them recently i thought Sousa didn't stand out, but also didn't look out of place, which for a player his age, in a struggling team and on his first loan, is a promising enough sign, Chrisene I thought was actually very good, but mixed with that were a few mistakes that could have cost Blackburn goals
  10. Watched the game now on VillaTV replay, thought he had a really great game
  11. It was Paul Tait who scouted him for West Bromwich Albion
  12. Chelsea probably going to take it out on us in the week There was a lot of talk of Skinner getting the sack, but now has a chance of winning Manchester United their first major honour
  13. We have missed Ramsey, we've missed the defensive work he does on that left hand side and general midfield play that goes so underrated. With best Ramsey we would have more points. Rogers is doing superbly though and the way he's going will get plenty of game time in the team with Ramsey, JR on the left and MR in the Number ten area
  14. He only turned nineteen a couple of months ago and this is his first loan move, that he went straight to the Championship shows how highly rated he is, Plymouth have extremely good recruitment, trust ma they know. Doesn't mean he's guaranteed to make it with us, but you can put him in a similar category to the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Iroegbunam, Philogene, and so on as they were at a similar age, if he doesn't make it with us, there's a good chance we will make a decent profit on him
  15. Well done lads, but just as if we'd have lost and Spurs had have won, I would still think we have a chance for fourth, as they would only be three points ahead, now that the opposite has happened and we're three points ahead of them, they can still get fourth, so we've still got a lot of hard work to do, but today's result just give us a lot of confidence for the remaining games
  16. I said in pre match thread that Arsenal could be due a bad result after winning ten of the last eleven and drawing away to Manchester City, thankfully that was to be the case. Such a great result, will hopefully help us get some of our previous confidence back, no need to fear any of our remaining fixtures after a win like that
  17. I've just looked at Arsenal's form, they've won ten of the last eleven, the only team they dropped points to in that time is Manchester City, and even that was a very respectable away draw. So that makes the task even more daunting, although when I see runs like that it does make me wonder if the team in question is due a bad result
  18. People setting themselves up for disappointment if they can't accept Arsenal are very likely to beat us, what they've done in past seasons doesn't mean anything, this season in the here and now they can go top of the league with a win today and have only lost once at home all season, they're also playing a team with three of it's starting midfielders, Ramsey, Kamara, and Luiz, injured or suspended Think we will lose today isn't being particularly negative, Arsenal would be favorites against most teams, if not all at home, and even more so if they team they were playing had the kind of injuries we have But as above Newcastle beating Spurs means defeat today won't be too damaging to our season as an whole, in fact whatever happens today league table won't look as bad as many might have imagined before the weekend, we can still get fourth because our other games won't be anywhere near as tough as today, the Lille game coming so soon is a good thing too, so we can quickly move on, and then we have a very winnable game next weekend against Bournemouth
  19. I think this could very well be one of our biggest defeats of the season, which won't be nice of course, but whatever happens it won't have been the worst weekend for us in terms of our challenge to get fourth, just by virtue of the fact that Newcastle beat Spurs, which means even if we lose today we will be in the same position relative to Spurs as we would be if both we and them had won this weekend

Harvey Vale is on loan Bristol Rovers, no idea how he's doing

    Chelsea

They would probably get a decent fee for Omari Hutchinson, seven goals and six assists for Ipswich, and is doing well besides those stats, always looks a constant threat. Wouldn't surprise me if they got between fifteen and twenty million for him. Edit he only has a year left on his contract, so maybe give him a new deal, let Ipswich have him for another year in the Prem, and then sell him next summer, when he might worth even more
  22. I don't remember that at all, but when we beat Newcastle last season, we had seven games left to play and were only six points behind them
  23. Eighteen points left to play for I was getting the Championship and Premier League mixed up, but same difference, the North East outfit aren't making up ten points with only six games left, their fixtures aren't even as easy as are being made out anyway, they could easily lose away to Palace, Brenford, and Manchester Unted
  24. Newcastle are no threat whatsoever, they're ten points behind with only eighteen points to play for, if it was the other way around and we were ten points behind them with six games left, not one person would be suggesting that we could catch them. The only team that are a threat to us are Spurs
