Can't blame him for the subs (sounds like all 3 were enforced) but do question his tactics especially with a 3-5-2. Think that we need to figure out our striking position and imo it should be Ings with Watkins probably on the bench
Well even if they do come after Emi, they'd have to get rid of 2 of their 3 current first team GKs, which probably wouldn't be the most ideal considering the squad limits
Very interesting article just put out by The Athletic & Gregg Evans(yes I know) about Lange. Some mentions of his time at Wolves and other tidbits.
Johan Lange: the quiet man plotting Aston Villa's revolution – The Athletic
Thought that this quote was very interesting, apparently a new data analyst/ recruitment person will be joining in the immediate future.
according to the rumor mill, Shevchenko wants a UK coaching role... don't think Watford would go for him but I think he would be a good shout (based on his work with Ukraine)
Yep. against the "top 4" teams the 3-5-2 can be valuable, but when we need to have that creative influence, we need more width and I don't know if having Watkins and Ings up top really helps with that
meh. not going to get too disappointed about the result.
I don't think we can play 3 at the back in games where we will have to break down the opposition (with Targett and Cash as wing backs)
could clearly see him taking something during treatment after the first corner. I don't understand why we just didn't take him off after that. Not a fan of taking chances with concussions..
Assuming that Young or Nakamba will draw in next weekend because no way should/(will) he be available
don't think he was that standout -- but I'd like to see him off the line more (specifically for the Mings backpass error).
if our situation comes to Martinez quarantining/not in the squad again I'd seriously consider giving Sinisalo some match experience if he's as highly rated by Cutler as reported
i'm considering trying to make it over for this game (if nothing drastically chances in the next month). don't think it will get moved as hasn't already but never know.
The next edition of FM sort of announced.... Will also be on the Xbox Series X/S console & game pass as well as Steam and the usual other places
Football Manager 2022 - Release Date - Nov 9th
Will be interesting to see what the new features will be. I know they mentioned adding female players & leagues, but I'd think that would be a few years down the line in terms of finalizing a database.
I was in my kindergarten class on the day. My mom rushed to pick me up early as we lived in the DC area and didn't know if we were going to have another attack after the Pentagon.
I get to explain/teach the historical significance and impact this had on us since to my high school US history classes tomorrow. (all of whom were born several years after 9/11). Will be very somber. The videos I've picked out are pretty emotional as well
