  1. Yeah, I would be definitely hopeful that Patterson would be on our radar.
  2. Reading RAWK, it seems like a ton of them don't want him to replace Klopp. I just want to know who will have the CV at that time. Don't really see a lot of good choices tbh
  3. Just thought this was worth a mention. somehow they always get away with it. Even if the ref made some questionable decisions on
  4. if the game today goes ahead, Newcastle will be at 3 more matches played than Burnley & likely on the same number of points unless they miraculously get something from City
  5. Wonder if we might be in on Digne? Not sure if unrealistic but Everton closing in on his replacement
  6. Whilst this is definitely 'possible', they still haven't recruited a Director of Football // Sporting Director, so there is still no public idea as to who is deciding on transfers.
  7. not sure if this will impact at all.
  8. I'll be very surprised if anyone outside the bottom 4 right now ends up relegated, unless Everton continues to be a toxic environment
  9. Their biggest problem is that they needed to fill their DoF role before anything else, and they haven't. Howe is, I'm pretty sure, the only footballing person employed in the hierarchy currently. (I believe similar to when we went down.) They have no sense of direction and what kind of plan & club they will become. If they do get relegated, what is their plan going to be? Buy the best Championship players like we did our first year? We have seen first-hand what happens if that doesn't work immediately. Do they go the young player route? Again, still waiting on getting a DoF is hurting them more than losing matches imo
  10. wasn't it at Anfield where he had that injury? great to see him back
  11. Looks like the Las Vegas Team is going to be coming through in a couple years
  12. Michael Emenalo has turned down the DoF role there because their plans weren't "ambitious enough" reportedly
  13. Flooding the midfield I guess? McGinn, Nakamba, Luiz, and Ramsey. Ramsey in the more advanced role?
  14. I'd be genuinely curious when the last time a non-sky 6 midfielder created 5 chances against Manchester city in the PL.
  15. all the ex-pros in media almost never take in to account the fan reactions about almost anything outside of scum 6 club fans. Brighton fans booing the team off the pitch, us booing Grealish etc.
  16. I wonder who they will go for next as manager. They are in need of a reset, like we got when NSWE took over. Setting up a football structure, vs where they have employed very dissimilar head coaches for a while with no set strategy or plan
  17. Our midfield is just so much more dynamic when he is playing
  18. Luiz, Nakamba & Watkins have been pretty good so far imo
