He is the perfect player to bring on against tired legs. Not likely to play 90 mins in the Prem. Might start a few cup games. Great guy great attitude and hopefully over his injuries. Speed of thought and weight of pass I don't think he has lost any of that. Pace yes and confidence for sure. Confidence is coming back though and if he stays The Don will know how to use him.

We treated it more like training than a game I thought. Patterns of play and so on not too concerned about the result. The still warming up when Walsall ran out for kick off. Then at HT nobody went to the dressing room apart from the players replaced and that was after chats with Unai and coaches on the pitch. Nice to see Sanson again and all the kids did well. USA trip will be a different feel I think we will take that more seriously.

Most stories are embellished to fit a narrative so I don't see why footballers are any different. As you get older you think back to those lads nights out or holidays and the legendry escapades. At the time is was par for the course but you had a bit on here and there as time goes by. With Footballers stories i reckon most are based on a form of truth. But they probably have a few beers and get other players stories and piece bits together. That's my take on it unless you are Doug and you just make up a load of bullshit -
But if its a seeded draw you have 2 bags of balls so how can they decide who is drawn first out of 2 bags!?
