  1. Be careful, I had the same situation. Eventually found out how much I needed to bid to cover what she owed on the house. In the end it turned out that she'd got her sums wrong and it didn't cover it. Eventually it fell through and I lost my money on the survey and searches. Fortunately a few months later we had a bid accepted on another house nearby and it all went through ok. It was an extremely stressful time in my life though.
  2. Actually I think if you asked most fans what frustrated them most about Delph it would be that he goes around kicking people and earning yellow cards. I also think that most would have agreed with you a few months ago but recently he's looked a lot more confident on the ball, making some great runs forward and cutting out a lot of the silly mistakes he used to make. I'm still not certain he'll make it here, but up until recently I would have said he hasn't got a chance so let's hope he keeps improving and we might actually see him fulfill the potential he seemed to have at a young age.
  3. Hate how obvious it is that so many in the media want their mate, Harry to keep QPR up. They had the best squad of the relegation strugglers, they spent more than anyone bar Newcastle in January and yet he's being hailed as a miracle worker.
  4. You can can't you? It says it just under the like button I mean after the event. So if I click on my profile now I see I have how many likes I've had, but I've no idea what posts were liked and by whom unless I go trawling through my post history. Even I'm not THAT vein. You can. View your profile then click on 'Likes' on the left hand side underneath your profile picture.
  5. As critical as I am of Lerner, this post beggars belief.
  6. A heart attack? So in a way it was cheese that did for him in the end.
  7. KEA is at the African Cup of Nations so looks like Bannan and Holman
  8. I don't think it's a fitness issue, it's the fact that we completely give up possession when we are ahead. Turns into a game where we just boot it upfield and desperately throw bodies in front of the ball until the opposition inevitably score.
  9. I'm organising my stag in April in Sofia, has anyone been? Any recommendations?
  10. You missed Coventry who I'd argue are also ahead of sha in terms of honours seeing as they are past FA cup winners.
  11. If you can do that accurately with one of those crappy styluses they use then you deserve to win an internet for your trouble. In other news the Nexus arrived (sorry Rev), pretty much all I was expecting, pretty impressed with how quick it is.
  12. He definitely didn't start like that against Spurs, he started with one up front. Either way playing 5 at the back isn't doing us much good IMO but we desperately need Vlaar back as the thought of Herd and Clark as the centre back pairing is the stuff of nightmares.
  13. Got an email in the middle of the night to say the nexus 4 I ordered is on its way so hopefully most people who ordered on the 4th December should be getting theirs in the next few days
  14. As speculation grows that Alec McLeish is soon to be announced as Nottingham Forest's new boss, TrentVilla shrugs off the rumours and gets ready for work.
  15. Exactly. AVB asked about Benteke, gives a complimentary answers which is then spun into a transfer story double quick as the journo is keen to get back to his mince pies.

Didn't realise there was an option until you mentioned it, changing it definitely solved the problem and I've given the black chrome theme a go.

Chrome on Windows 8, had a quick test on Firefox and doesn't seem to be an issue on there so far.

I seem to be having issues dragging the scroll bar on this site today, doesn't seem to be an issue on any other site. Is it something to do with the script?
  19. I think when you sign Joe Allen for £16m or whatever the hell it was you're in no position to talk about mediocre transfers
  20. Don't get him started, he's the modern day Dot Cotton.
  21. The thing I find most interesting about this list is that half of the players who most would deem as poor signings are the ones who are actually playing regularly for teams who are higher than us in the league whereas the players who were successful are mostly sat on the bench, or in the case of Luke Young, not even in the squad of 25.
  22. I think the problem before he was dropped was that he's not a natural winger and unlike Gabby his game doesn't really lend himself to playing in a wide position. I remember him going down rather easily a few time while he was trying to dribble the ball down the wing. He's definitely more comfortable playing up front where he can focus on getting in goal scoring positions and doing what he seems to do best, finishing off a move.
