  1. Fair enough, either way it's definitely a good investment, sign her up to the free month on Netflix and jobs a goodun.
  2. You know the 32gb is £199.99? Well worth it in my opinion. Also got it for after an op and it's the best decision I've made in a while
  3. Thought it was a nose? Either way it's not at all funny. As for the general, he started off by being an important link between the fans and board but as soon as McLeish was named manager it all turned a bit sour.
  4. Judging by a remark Herd's made on Twitter he won't be playing today.
  5. More importantly how did he ever become an Arsenal player?
  6. 1-0 Man United after 3 minutes, Van Persie the scorer of course.

    Ice rink

Could be wrong but to me it looks like the bottom left of the rock as you look at it to me.
  8. Ok so as a few of you might have read in the running thread I recently fractured my hip so I'm pretty much housebound for the next 6 weeks. Am looking to buy a big box set to keep me going, something with several series and really hooks you in. Already have The Wire, The Shield and Battlestar Galatica so any suggestions are welcome, preferably something where you can buy the whole lot in one bundle so I can get stuck in. Cheers.

    Running

Starting going at 7 miles, at that point I was on for about 1 hour 40 mins. I managed to limp to 11 and a half miles at which point I couldn't bear weight on it so got taken by ambulance to the QE. They x rayed me and said I had a pulled muscle and gave me crutches. Had 3 days of complete agony until I got a phone call from the QE saying they'd reviewed my x rays and I might have a stress fracture. Went straight to my local hospital and they confirmed it and I went into surgery the next day. Got a couple of months of hard physio to come now but I'll get there.

    Running

Completely serious. Stress fracture, came from nowhere, some of you may have seen me limping round the course holding my hip. At the time I thought it was a strain but obviously not. Just had an operation to pin my hip, in hospital at the moment.

    Running

I took part in the half marathon but didn't finish as I unfortunately suffered a fractured hip.
  12. I missed it but most seem to agree that it's quite good. I still wonder whether that was because expectations were so low though.
  13. Not a .gif but I love Poulter's passion.
  14. What a day. Unbelievable.
  15. He was on of the hottest young prospects in Europe while at Mallorca IIRC (not sure exactly how old he was while there). He's never played for Mallorca, think you must be thinking of Valencia.
  16. lol. Nice term! Never heard that before? Thought it was standard vocabulary. Must be out of fashion. I was similarly surprised when I described someone as "a bit of a headbanger" - to the the great amusement of younger colleagues who weren't familiar with the term. Presumably the pun was intended though?
  17. If its the guy Kendrick's retweeted then he's written Dean Sturridge. Definite ITK right there.
  18. I know it's a bit cliched now, especially after Sky Sports got hold of it, but I still think Requiem for a Dream is the perfect entrance music.
  19. Interesting. Didn't have a chance to read their last statement before closing, not a huge surprise reading it now that it was a Villa endorsed account.
  20. Right...Monday Update. Must say it was all a bit 'meh' but that was probably because we didn't plan it that well. We left the Trafford Centre at around 10pm and headed near home. We drove around in total for about an hour trying to find the right spot. I think that killed the moment as it was more like "lets find somewhere and get it over and done with. After 2 aborted locations we finally found a good spot. We stayed in the car because of the rain and the deed was done and the seed was sewn. It was cramped and a couple of cars went past which I suppose added to the excitement. However by the time we had driven round for ages trying to find somewhere, it had killed any 'wow' factor. On the positive side we have now found a good spot for future exploits! Hang on, do you live in Manchester? Warn me next time you are feeling adventurous and I'll stay in :winkold: Don't worry. I don't live in Manchester *Wipes brow* Should have just gone all out and gone for it on the slopes of Chill Factore
