  1. Well she isn't Indian or defecating so she's probably not for you kid. I swear this forum is the pickiest group of (mainly) men I've seen and that's with rob bringing down the average :winkold:
  2. Also just back from seeing it. I was going to write a review but realised I couldn't really say anything more than has already been said. As briggaman and various reviews have said, it's too long and baggy but the opening and closing sections of the film are excellent. 4/5 for me.
  3. So far from a done deal then Well yes, I was confirming :winkold:
  4. Not being funny but wasn't that the plan last season? Wait, there was a plan last season?
  5. That is what you get when you dispose of Nike and get Macron. I will not get into the whole debate about losing Nike, because there are some ridiculous arguments on here about Nike, but they are the major player sponsoring the best teams - and Macron is smalltime. In the end, what kit you wear is not relevant as long as the players like the feel on the pitch. I live in Manchester and it was nigh-on impossible to buy a Villa shirt here when they were made by Nike, even in the Nike store so I'm not sure it's made that much difference outside of London.
  6. Third? Yep. Holman and El Ahmadi Holman was from AZ Alkmaar.
  7. Okay then, what are they all doing wandering around Villa Park on a Sunday? This bloke LOOKS at least 40: He also looks nothing like the guy in pic on p118 apart from the fact that they both have shaved heads. As for Luuk de jong, come on now, he looks absolutely nothing like that guy in the blue shirt.

    Running

Other than the obvious, not really. If you can get off road, do - it's also great fun! I do try to. There's quite a few runs along the Mersey which I've run before however with the weather being so horrific this summer most of the time any cross country runs are no-nos as they are too boggy.

    Running

Ok so I completed a 22k run today which I was pretty proud of, I'm also doing the Birmingham Half Marathon so now I've got a few months to bring my time down. One thing that concern me is that my knee are always sore during running, even doing 10k runs and the like. Anyone got any tips apart from the obvious of doing less road running?
  10. Neither of them look like either De Jong or Ramis and Lambert's not doing a great job of showing him around if he's walking in the opposition direction to them.
  11. Interesting about RvP. My boss saw him having a meal in Hale a few weeks ago and I'd assumed he was probably speaking to City representatives but who knows?
  12. Frankly I'm quite surprised Gabby managed all of that, must have had his concentration face on.
  13. Apart from the guy on the Sheffield United forum who posted about it days before him?
  14. Yeah, gutted we've missed out on a 31 year old bit part player, for a fee rising to 5m and whatever crazy wages he's on It's enough to make you want to end it all And damn, being popular in Korea has always been high on my list of priorities as a supporter too Fucknuts. What a kick in the nuts Seeing as the poster you quoted lives in Korea, I think it may well be in his interest if Villa are big over there.
  15. Not sure where anyone has said that. If you were referring to my post then I suggest you read it again because at no point did I say anything of the sort.
  16. A weak argument. You're not going to try and tell us that playing in the CL is proof of someone being a great player are you? Djimi Traore has a champions league winners medal for gods sake. I bet there are plenty of players who have played in the champions league that would do a lot worse than McCann did for us. No. Look at the bigger picture. He excelled against quality opposition in the CL with Lyon.. even scoring against Real. McCann used to lose the ball playing against Sheffield United. If we ever play in the Champions League then this may be a relevant argument. In the meantime I think it's more important to focus on his ability to cope in the Premier League. I don't think it's a coincidence that his best game for us was against Man United, a team that gives you more time on the ball and relies less on the physicality of their players. Thing is, there are a good few teams who don't give you time on the ball, who's game revolves around closing down players quickly and in those games Makoun seemed very much ineffectual. Perhaps he will learn to adapt to the pace of the Premier League, but the risk is if he do give him more time and he flops his value will drop even more than it already has done.
  17. Yes but he's declared himself for Ireland so I'm guessing you won't be a fan.
  18. My boss is a blades fan. He says he has similar attributes to Walker, ok defensively and good going forward. I asked him if he thought he'd make it in the Premier League and he said he think he has the talent to do it but needs to bulk up a bit.
