  1. Yeah… not what you'd expect from a lad from Leeds *Bradford

  3. I was desperately trying to think of a Vlaar pun to reply to this, but I couldn't. Challenge failed.
  4. I remember when Milner signed permanently that his first few games were pretty poor and there were quite a few people questioning the fee. To be honest it wasn't until he was moved into the centre that he really started to justify his fee. As for Cleverley he's not good enough for a team with ambitions of the top 4 but he's good enough for us and I'd be happy enough if we signed him.
  5. Is it Alan Green because that wouldn't exactly be a shock.
  6. Another thing to mention is that he's done this without a CEO. Considering he must have had to do a lot of the donkeywork in bringing them in, I personally think he's done an excellent job in his recruitment this summer.

    Drugs

I had morphine when I broke my hip but it must have been a fairly low dose as it didn't really have an effect. The moonster makes it sound so much fun too, apart from the lowering blood pressure and addiction bits of course.

If it's the nearest beach to Zadar, just bear in mind it's a pretty crappy beach. There's a couple a bit further away which are supposed to be nicer though so hopefully it's one of those.
  9. I wasn't really surprised that he had a good game as he has all the ability to be a great defender. My worry is still his consistency and I'm not sure I'd want him as a starter in the long term but isn't it fantastic not having to worry about Baker or Clark at the back?

Went to Zadar last month. It's slightly cheaper than the UK and definitely a bit cheaper than Ireland . The old town is nice and the Sea Organ and Greetings to the Sun are definitely both worth checking out. There's quite a few national parks not so far away and you can book when you get there. Have you got accommodation sorted as I can recommend somewhere if you haven't. One thing I would say is the food is a bit samey. Loads of Mediterranean/Italian food which gets a bit boring after a while.
  11. Oh really? Just the mighty Middlesbrough with all their ambition.
  12. I played the original Championship Manager, I bought on some shop that sold games on the high street in Erdington. I remember the jump from CM to CM2 was pretty big. I can't really get into the newer games though. Instead of me being addicted for years, I tend to play one for a week, get bored and then don't bother with it again.
  13. Bloody hell, talk about picky.
  14. To be fair, having been to Nottingham I can see why it gets the two places mixed up.
  15. There is no reason at all. It's not comparable, it's identical. I suspect a dropped phone. Really odd, it seemed to start as soon as she moved over, maybe it was something like that. It could also be confirmation bias. Could well be. If I can be bothered at some point I might stick an o2 pay as you go sim in there to see. Might be a while before I can be bothered, mind.

  17. Where's that from? There's some Sky Sports journo who has tweeted about it, presumably he's read it there.
  18. My wife moved onto Giff Gaff from o2 and loses signal regularly in parts of the house where she used to have a signal for o2. Is there any obvious reason for this? I would have thought the signal would have been comparable seeing as they use o2's network.
  19. put £20 e/w on it so thanks cv. Good job you didn't listen to his world cup bets though.
  20. If it's a choice between a MBP or an air I assume he'd be looking at the 13" model? If so, it's very light and the advantages it has over an air (particularly the retina screen) mean that you're better off spending a bit more on the MBP.
  21. You in New York? I arrive Sunday evening if you fancy a pint? You should take this up. I lived in the same city as him and worked in the same 'village' as him for years and never got a similar offer Seriously? Did I miss that?! That I worked in Didsbury? Nope we had a conversation about it!

    Thailand

Hang on, the people are more friendly but they are also likely to shoot or kidnap you? To be honest I was always more concerned about stepping on a stray landmine. As for Thailand being overpriced, I know what you are getting at, but it's still ridiculously cheap on the whole, especially for food, just not as cheap as it's neighbours in SE Asia.
