  1. Why wouldn’t you want an armoured bear!
  2. I’m abroad with bad WiFi. Could anyone confirm if Bournemouth tickets have gone on general sale, or will go on general sale on a certain date, or won’t go to general sale, or have already sold out?
  3. GDPR. Contract length is personal information.
  4. the chances of Man City buying him back are low... He'd have to turn out to be an amazing player, not just an average 7-10th Premier league player. If he does turn out to be that amazing, then the buyback will probably be £30-50 million. Win/win all round. Barcelona never activated their buyback clause on Traore after all!
  5. my very rough guess... £150m in transfer fees (£50m hits 2019/20, if assume all 3 year contracts). Then £50m in salaries. So £100 total spend for 2019/20.
  6. Roughly £84 million spent so far. Maybe 3 more players at an average cost of £12 million = £84m + £36m = £120m Thats my guess.
  7. we should sue or charge them for using a Villa player to advertise their kit
  8. I don’t get it. Whats the EFL trophy? Its not the league cup? A new trophy? Why are only 16 Premier League clubs invited? What’s happened to the other 4?
  9. What if we bought two more CBs?
  10. They should use VAR with an appeals system... the manager or captain gets 2 appeals per match to request VAR.
  11. I think thats the aim. Need to keep collecting a few points here and there to stay ahead of 3 other teams. I can't see Newcastle falling that much though, they still have a decent enough team even without Benitez.
  12. I think the gap is bigger than most of us think. Look at the 5 previous play-off winners - 4 got relegated immediately, and 1 lasted an extra season before being relegated. That's despite some of them spending many tens of millions of pounds to strengthen their championship team.
  13. But we get Premier League football TBH, even with the increase in price i think we are at the lower end of Premier league ticket pricing.
  14. everyone does except maybe the biggest 5 clubs in the world. Also you want players that even if they don't become great players for us, we can sell them on for a reasonable fee without taking a huge loss.
  15. I'll be very happy with 17th. Might scrape 16th with a bit of luck. Could very easily finish 20th.
  16. I'm not that bothered with paying the current license fee, and i like the idea of a public broadcaster... but if it moved to a subscription service at £5/month, i wouldn't bother to subscribe. I might have watched 5 things on the BBC in the last 5 years, and don't think i'd particularly miss any of them.
  17. Thanks. According to the website there are now 4,682 tickets available so not sure whats going on there.
  18. i'm confused - not sure how this calculates?
