    I think as long as the clause is high enough, I'm comfortable. Arguably he probably wouldn't have signed the extended contract without the clause in it. The fact that he did is probably getting us an extra 20m (if he leaves). It also probably balances up the relegation clause we would have inserted. But ideal world I agree. None of our players would want clauses or want to leave.

    I assume Sarr was linked with Bailey. Given Buendia plays from the right I'm couldn't see us signing Sarr and Bailey.

    Seems a little harsh. In this instance the release clause says "I might consider leaving if a premier League clubs is prepared to pay more money for me than they've ever paid for anyone else". Hardly first instance.

    I had both doses of AZ without any side effects and I have had flu. It doesn't feel like their is any reason for side effects. You may get them once, twice, never and no one can say why.

    If their is a release clause of 100m you have to give it context. Last year it was generally felt we would sell if someone offered c80. A couple of years ago Spurs just needed to stump up 20. I'm not sure we all saw such a rise this season from villa or Grealish. It says a lot that we would now feel disappointed at 100. Fwiw I wouldn't sell for less than 200. I do think he will probably go though. I've heard many footballers worry that these chances don't present themselves again. If he doesn't go to city, they buy someone else

    Very odd, I watched him quite a few times last season. Thought he was decent and a big reason behind Cheltenhams promotion. I thought he'd make a reasonable championship player.

    I didn't link my son to a digital id to my knowledge. I had him registered as my family though which allowed me to allocate him a ticket when he was also eligible.

    I had to have myself and my son on the waiting list. The waiting list only qualifies for you to my knowledge.

    Good point, left leg up means I'm going to give it straight to the defender at the near post. Right leg up I going to smash it over everyone for a throw, both legs, let's go short and pass it back to Martinez.

    I think expansion will come but I also think villa could do much without it. Given the road closures around the ground, they could set up outside food and drinks places and encourage people to socialise before and after games. Maybe then need to push more of the parking away from the ground and start to use those places for large marquee's?

    I've been to the new spurs ground and the biggest difference really is that they are perfectly set up to socialise before and after games. Huge gangways and places to meet, bars with seating and a massive amount of food offerings. I went for a cup game with some friends from work, we were there for 6 hours. Unfortunately the design of villa park makes it impossible to follow suit, they need to consider how they make money around the group if they want to compete.

    64 points and whatever that brings. Need to be competitive and competing for European places at the end of the season.

    Do people laugh at John Terry's medals? If Jack left, I suspect he would be going for a British record transfer and would go on to play a role of more significance than a sub keeper. I think we all know Jack would love to stay, at the same time we all know he has aspirations to achieve big things. Question is whether he thinks.he can achieve them with us.

    For those still waiting. Just had our email to purchase. Me and my son got tickets in the holte lower, probably about 200 left in there but lots of them single seats. We were in the first 2000 seats.

    I've no issue with it and would have done the same thing. The reason this England team is successful is they may decisions to benefit the team and not the individual. Southgate wanted another defender. Sterling was on fire. Grealish hasn't really taken his chance, it was him or foden. The way we played that second half, his decision was completely vindicated. I just hope it doesn't get turned into a big deal, were in the final, that's all that matters. What a team.

    When I first saw it I thought it was a pass. The more I watched of Traore I'm convinced it was a shot. I dont think I know anyone else that would actually try that in that way.

    I think 30m for a kid with half a decent season in a good side is respectable.

    I think the right price depends very much on if you want to sell, if the player wants to leave, level of interest from other clubs. Everyone and everything has a price.

    My feeling is, if he gets an option of a move to city and the money feels right to villa he will want to go. City represent almost guaranteed trophies and If they don't get Jack they get someone else. This could be a once in his lifetime opportunity so he will have a very difficult decision to make. As much as I (and I'm sure Jack) would love to achieve these things at villa, it seems far less likely.

    Picking up our new puppy tomorrow night. We lost our Yorkshire terrier at the age of 17 last July, having her put down was heart breaking and finally ready for a new addition. Were getting a lab, we've always wanted one. Can't wait.

    I think pretty much all wide players play that way now. Given how advance full backs play they offer the width, most wide players use the overlap to cut inside and gets shots away. Traore and Cash developed a great understanding. It was most evident when Elmo had to come in.

    I wouldn't expect him to come in. Southgate went with Sterling who played well and scored. I would expect him to feature.
