  1. I also had MW3 as a gift. Really only play zombies, although I dabbled on a Shipment playlist over Christmas which was fun Not sure how I feel about MWZ. Some games are great, but other times you're dropped in a location miles away from a contract you want to do and by the time you get there someone else has already taken it so you're waiting round for it to respawn again. Must say the community is pretty good though. You can help each other out if you need reviving, drop spare loot etc for others. One guy who must have cheated dropped over 400k worth of credit plus weapons for no apparent reason. Nice to play solo but probably better in a squad.

    Unai Emery

Usually turns into a kiss of death after you win this, but The Don has broken every other hoodoo for us so far.
  3. Can someone give Garnacho an antihistamine - he looks like he's constantly suffering from and allergic reaction!
  4. Insert Kenneth Williams pic here!!
  5. Funnily enough I saw this on Essentials yesterday and liked the look of it aesthetically but wondered whether it would be worth playing.
  6. Not seeing enough consistently to warrant making this permanent at the moment. I know there's still time but hope we are looking at other options too.

    Gym Routine

Out of interest what do you guys do when you struggle for motivation to get to the gym / classes? I've only been to the gym once since New Year and today will be my first class since Christmas Eve. It feels like a chore at the moment, and the last thing I want to do is let it slip to a point where I don't bother going at all.
  8. VT playlist - this is the link (I think!)
  9. If you go on Spotify and search VT playlist its a list lots of members on here have contributed to!
  10. I've just banged the VT playlist on Spotify - loads of cracking tunes tbh!

    Weather...

My old man is in Tamworth and was planning on going over to see him today / this weekend. Hopefully it's a little dryer by then!
  12. Haven't been to the gym as often as I want during the last few weeks of December. Back on it tomorrow though, and after the next week or so those who start with good intentions will ultimately give up leaving the usual faces at the gym. Main motivation is to put a bit of mass on the muscles, and just look better than I have done for years. I don't drink as much as I used to buy I definitely need to eat better. My problem is during the week at lunchtime. It's always sandwiches, boring bland sandwiches usually white bread. Take more fruit and veg is the plan. Also need to find an alternative to drinking coffees all the time at work. I do try and get at least a litre of water during the day too but even that's a struggle! Good luck everyone, hope you all reap the benefits of the work you put in.
  13. Glad to hear you enjoying it. There's nothing really to worry about in umbral tbh apart from the black reapers early on and the red ones but they only show up when the border around the umbral eye goes all the way round.
  14. I've not started the campaign yet. Same as you, the wife brought out for me for Christmas. Feel bad but not really enjoying it as much as previous games. Only played zombies tbf, might give some of the multiplayer modes a go but it's not really a keeper at the moment.
  15. Have you read some of the comments on here? I'm delighted with our league position personally.
  16. We really need a statement win here. Put some belief back in the fans.
  17. I never finished either of them. Remember the first section of RDR2 being a trudge because it's in the snow iirc but after that it was great. Not played cyberpunk properly for ages so I'd probably have to restart that one.
  18. Just finished this with the umbral ending after beating Elianne the Starved. The one piece of advice for anyone not playing a magic build is patience (as with all games in this genre). Not a bad game at all, glad I played it and finished it. Now back to Lies of P.
  19. Good to have someone else giving this a try. Pieta took me ages too, but @Designer1 joined my game and we got there in the end. If there are any specific bits and pieces your stuck on or don't understand I'm sure we can help out. Good luck out there Lampbearer!
  20. Can't remember the last time a result has pissed me off as much. They were there for the taking but we kept making the same mistakes and as soon as they figured out how to beat the press it was over. This is such a typical Villa thing to happen. Playing a team that's been poor for ages, lacking confidence with a huge money striker who's not scored in the league all season. Don't worry we'll help you turn the corner.
  21. I'm just reached Elianne the Starved, final boss I think. Not sure if this is the same ending anyone else went for but you basically fight a harder version of the first boss. Using a strength build so it's going to be tricky because she's quick moving and has lots a AOE spells which are difficult to avoid. It's been ok, but not something I'll rush back to. Got Lies of P to finish off as well.
  22. Wife brought me COD MW3 for Christmas so I'll give the zombies a go at some point today. No point going for online multiplayer because my reactions are significantly slower than the pre-teens who generally fill the lobbies!

    Christmas 2023

All our kids are grown up now, youngest is 17 but 2 still live with us. We've opened the presents, lots of Villa stuff from the wife which I'm chuffed with. Everyone is chilling, dinner is on the go. Family coming round later. Merry Christmas you lot. Have a great day one and all
