  1. This. I think because it can vary quite a bit it becomes quite tricky. For example on today's one i got this. Nerdle 16 3/6 However mathematically the 3 digits I got wrong on the 2nd try was a correct formula and could be reversed/changed in another way as well.
  2. Done and lock. From the zero times I actually watched him play, looked sh**.
  3. I do, but only whilst they are chasing me down the Aston Expressway
  4. Had to mooney him and to be honest I am still a bit perplexed as to who he actually is and what he has done save for being "controversial"! I don't really care for Spotify anyway (personal preference) but I suspect I would be more likely to listen to Neil Young than Joe Rogan. It would genuinely be funny if a lot of other musicians pulled their music from Spotify because of this though.

Nope - still very much alive. Well they have a load of shows listed for this year still on their website at the very least and their last posts were yesterday confirming new shows so I still think they are kicking around

Villa Park does if you can venture out that far (seriously - had a band playing in the McGregor Suite in November). Otherwise maybe the Asylum Venue in Hockley? It has 2 rooms so depending on size. Possibly Mama Roux as well in Digbeth? Might be a good shout as bit more party venue I suppose?! Like others have said though it depends on what sort of party it is.
  7. Whilst I definitely agree with that, it does in my head seem to go against the ideals of the Hippocratic Oath if it was on that sole basis he is being refused the transplant. Like the article insinuates though, there seems to be more reasons than just this point, this is just the headline grabbing point. I suspect that the doctors will probably have a much better understanding of the issue than we will though! @Demitri_C, to answer your question I do suspect this will become the “new normal” or certainly much more common. I think people are just tired of others taking the p*** and not actually taking responsibility for their own actions/taking proper precautions to make sure that they are themselves OK.
  8. Here you go https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-60132765 Whilst there appears to be more to the reasoning other than the vaccine issue, it is still surprising that is a part of the justification to refuse the transplant.
  9. Think it is going to be a very good album, very much looking forward to it!
  10. Stephen Fry has linked this skit from the 80s with the pair of them
  11. A few new ones Ghost - Call Me Little Sunshine. Not bad but maybe requires a few listens. Zeal & Ardor - Church Burns. New album out next month and looking forward to it. Hammerfall ft. King Diamond - Venerate Me. Pretty cool power metal but more reminds me that we need the new King Diamond album soon... Spotted this as well, features Deafheaven's singer and is er... "avant grade" for sure... Isamaya Ffrench (?) is the other half of the collective but she certainly sounds good And finally, new Boris album out today "W". Wata on vocals so going to be a lot more chilled than "No" but still sounding good from previews. About to give it a spin
  12. I think this is the point. Boris is easily the most incompetent prime minister we have had, certainly in living memory. He is lazy, work shy, indecisive, incoherent, self centred and pompous (amongst a lot of other things). If he was actually vaguely competent I suspect he would be able to cause a lot of damage and be in power for a much longer time and be comparable to Thatcher in regard to the long term damage to the country.
  13. Yeah it sounds like they have been having a lot of recent troubles to be honest, it hasn't looked pretty good. Whilst I have never really been a fan, they have been a bit of an "institution". I do wonder whether the rest of the band minus Keith will form a new band with a new singer.

    Wordle

2nd attempt after realising the app on the apple store is not the same! Wordle 212 4/6 Might have a look at the archives...
  15. Yes it does, as it is still an employment contract. As for an example, Martin O’Neill argued it with Villa when he left. That settled out of court but that was what the case was about.
  16. Yeah but what you are describing is effectively constructive dismissal (I.e saying to an employer they don’t want them to make them quit instead). This would mean if Rooney did leave they it would be because they forced him and therefore they would be liable for his full fixed term contract (whatever that is) and so costing the club money rather than earning them money. To put bluntly, an employer legally CANNOT do that and any employee in this circumstance should be going to the employment tribunal. He cannot be forced to take the Everton job but I suspect the administrators will be more than happy if he wants to as it will be more income. I suspect it is semantics anyway, Rooney will more than likely be happier managing Everton than Derby, even with current owners so if Everton want him it’ll happen. That is if they are not lining up Nuno anyway.
  17. Probably more the latter. This was probably the best way to shut the case down as quickly as possible but with that now gone it’s going to be a lengthy messy court case. She also doesn’t seem to be wanting to be bought off again so it is all coming out. Even if he comes out the other side the winner, he will end up with a lot a sh*t on him and better to cut him loose now than being tarnished with the same brush.
  18. I bet he’s sweating now.
  19. Given all of the Coutinho content today, I suspect this will be announced either very late tonight or first thing tomorrow morning to give Coutinho as much spotlight at the moment. Both big intent signings. Now if we can get the defensive midfielder in to match those qualities...
  20. Just watching this now and noticed right at the start at during the medical the doctor asked him what he wanted to be called and he responds "Phil". When asked what they call him there at Barcelona he responds "Coutinho". Just reminds me that little things like that can make someone not feel welcome. Give him the right support and he will be phenomenal.
  21. I'm a little surprised to be honest, I thought the Courts would have thrown it out but glad it hasn't been.
