  1. And we now go live to Jacob Rees-Mogg for an eye witness account of what happened in 1932.
  2. Probably should have put money on it, but he is such a coward he can't even tender a formal resignation.
  3. Yeah I mean I did just a 2 minute Google search to get that as a general idea. Agree with all your comments and yeah tactical voting will play massively into it. To be honest I could very easily live with a Lab/Lib Dem coalition.
  4. Indeed. Current Prediction (1 July 2022) from https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/prediction_main.html is that Labour are 16 short of a majority. Based on this though a coalition/support from Lib Dems would cover it without the need to involve the SNP; just. 5. Still doesn’t mean they won’t resign tomorrow/later tonight
  6. Money on who's the next resignation? Gove might be likely - more interested in saving his own skin.
  7. If I was being cynical, I would suggest that the leaks are all actually coming out of Ukraine to assist with funding for the war...
  8. Yeah I think this is the tactic to be honest. We know he genuinely believes that better in than out. The reality is that if he did say “we should not rule out Single Markey or Custom Union” the Tories (and Daily Mail, Sun etc) will immediately accuse him of being a traitor to Brexit and instantly lose all those potential votes. So long as the Tories are getting those votes, Labour is not getting into power. Once in power he can tailor it, especially if they have to do a coalition with the SNP or Lib Dems who will both be pro Europe - that can be explored in the future. There are also some levels of engagement with Europe outside of single market or custom union (e.g. similar to Switzerland) which would be infinitely better than the current sh*t show. I honestly think it is not a terrible idea making the pledge, certainly right now anyway. It means he doesn’t have to go on the defensive on the issue and focus on other matters to criticise the Tories.
  9. So I wasn’t meant to shove the test up my butt?
  10. After 2 1/2 years of this nonsense finally caught it. F***ing pain in the a***.

So in the last week the Supreme Court has:- Strengthened Gun Rights Removed Right to Abortion Limited the Government's ability to put in climate control In 1 week. Absolutely bonkers.
  12. As highlighted in the Rotherham case in particular, sadly there are a very large number of vulnerable children out there that don't have the care they deserve and the homes that they are taken to don't have the support they need to make sure that they are able to look after them properly.
  13. None. To be honest if the Tories are going to just vote without thinking then there is feels like there is genuinely no point to parliament at all. Wish they would just grow a backbone and actually have some principles. I use to have a modicum of respect for Tory politicians as I whilst disagreed principally with their views, at least it was done in a respectful way. What they have shown over the last 10/20 years is that the way they govern has absolutely nothing to do with making the country better in accordance with their own views. They will literally say and do anything just to remain in power. It is a shame that they are not called up on it properly and this is actually a genuinely good example, given that they are trying to change the thing that they said wouldn't need changing.
  14. Well if she abstained that is a little better but still would be good if politicians actually had some convictions and voted according to their beliefs rather than anything else.
  15. Seriously? I noted she had said all of that and that there were Tories that voted against it; just presumed she would be one of them!
  16. Avoid M6 - J10 if you can - roadworks have made it a f***ing nightmare.

Reports are now saying that a woman was found dead sadly.
  18. Probably about 15/20 years ago but yeah pretty load! Good pyrotechnics as well. Couldn’t make the original date and had sold out by the time I could make it. Shame as good band live.

Also known as the 40th trimester. Just all about control. No one is forcing people to get abortions, it is just sad that they cannot allow people to have their choice about it.
  20. I think they only get a certain number of questions/allotted time and may want to actually get the questions out. I also think (not certain though) that the questions are given ahead of time so they can prepare responses accordingly. To be honest I would be tempted to ask him about is alleged children given the parliamentary privilege and just watch Johnson's reaction.
  21. Absolute waste of time. Listened for 5 minutes and all Johnson does it respond to every question with inane nonsense. Wish he could actually be called out for the lies but all that happens is the MP gets kicked instead. Pointless.
