    when i look at that - with the broadness of the top wording and the tapering at he bottom i see the rough shape of a gas lamp as the overall outline of the badge as a whole. Wonder if that is deliberate or i'm just tripping

    i think spurs were always in a slightly false position at the top of the league with a pretty good run of fixtures and a bit of luck. Have settled now to their rightful level which is in and around us Should be a good open game. Im gonna be there behind enemy lines in the posh seats so hopefully I can contain myself when our fourth goes in!

    here ive just remembered that goal he scored in pre-season when he ran the length of the pitch. Why's he not done that this season?! wonder how the defenders fouled stats are looking this year. last year he was right up there if I remember correctly and he still seems to be doing that lovely thing where he gets himself between man and ball and draws the foul to alleviate all the pressure on the defence. it is artistic watching him do it

    genuinely think we need to have a recount of Utd's points. In my head they've been dreadful and then I look at the league table and they are in bloody 6th - with a -3 goal difference?! eh?!

    Most underrated player in the league. I don't think a fully fit Mings gets back in this team . Ezri has risen to the challenge this season and got better and better

    There are others bigger than him or more ripped than him but McGinn uses what strength he has better than any other player in this league. He is just so solid and, I dunno, girthy?     it was insane to watch - chelsea players were lining up to make the run to break that line. Whenever they defended deep chelsea couldnt figure out out how to play through them because they are terrible. And that Nicolas Jackson boy is dreadful. That was the least impressive hattrick ive ever seen!

    As well as for us I'm just bloody delighted for him. Now when I speak to people about Villa and Emery I never hear that "good ebening" bollocks or about his "failures" at Arsenal People are absolutely glowing in their praise of the job he has done for villa and there is now so much respect for him which he was, wrongfully, not given previously. Other clubs supporters are genuinely envious that we have him. I really think that he came back to England because he felt slighted and felt that he was done a disservice. He wanted to prove to media and fans in England exactly how good he is and how wrongly they portrayed him. He is shoving it right down their throats and it must feel amazing!

    It barely gets mentioned in dedicated live section featuring the balon d'or! More is made out of who won the womens award (spoiler it was some woman) or who may win it next year ffs It nearly seems like they are deliberately ignoring the Yachin trophy completely. I am unreasonably annoyed at this considering how little it actually impacts my life but im fit to be tied!

    Honestly I was getting quite irritated with some of his long forward passing in the first half last night - thought he gave away possession quite a lot. I put this down to ring rustiness though as he clearly has the ability to deliver a mean long ball
