    I actually think that most of the players there are very good and, individually, the majority would thrive if you dropped them into a functional team. I think as a collective Chelsea are kinda broken however - too many players to form a cohesive supportive atmosphere, expectation levels and an overrated manager combined make it a dysfunctional club Its the opposite to what Villa have done where they streamlined the squad, brought in a proven coaching team, managed expectations from the fans, and of course have the best manager in the world who improves rather than stifles players Give Emery any single player from Chelseas squad and no only would he be able to get them functioning in the Villa team but would improve them as players

    for me he is the best through ball playing player we have. I also think he will be coming back into the team to support a better Watkins than previously. The way Watkins has been staying central and playing off the shoulder of the last man has been phenomenal. If these two get clicking it could be very profitable

And all day on talksport. Just completely ignoring the team sitting joint first Even if I stopped supporting villa tomorrow I'd be dying for them to win it just to slap it up the media in this country

    Thought it was 100% a penalty and was disappointed linekar called it a dive. A kick anywhere on a player can a: hurt and b: disrupt their stride. Honourably struggling to stay on his feet would have got him nowhere because match officials will not recognise a foul as a foul unless the player ends up on the ground in apparent pain

    Was actually behind 4 other villa players when Dougie started to deliver that ball. Ran through them and about 10 utd defenders to arrive bang on time. Great instincts. Kinda confirms my suspicion he would make an excellent no. 9 rather than wide forward

    Our goal should have been disallowed......then play brought back for a penalty on Ramsey. Defender wasn't even looking at the ball - instead had two hands gripping Ramsey and shoving him backwards

    The Dalot one infuriated me. He had every right to be annoyed at the decision (it was wrong) and the second one wasnt even directed at an official as far as I remember. Hope we dont get to the stage where we take all emotion out the game
