    I definitely foresee a situation - probably this season - whereby Ten Hag or Poch get sacked and there will be a massively vocal outpouring of "Just go get Emery" from that teams fans. To which we will laugh as we continue to quietly build a legacy defining juggernaut. The only one I would worry about is potentially Real Madrid coming in for him (though BHA fans also have this fear about Di Zerbi apparently) but for some reason (probably my Claret and Blue lenses) I think Emery is honourable and stubborn enough to want to finish what he started - and continues to build - here at Villa rather than jump to another project.

    just realised ollie got an assist for Ramsey goal on top of scoring his three and his assist for Diaby. Does his rebounded shot for Dougies goal also count as an assist?

    He is such a tactical leader on the pitch now too - constantly communicating and directing play. He really has grown as a player for us and it's great to see. He totally knew what he was doing fouling that lad by head butting him in the shins before our goal by the way

    would be borderline irresponsible of Dyche to field anywhere near a strong team for this. If I were him I would absolutely take the hit, get out of the competition and focus on league survival which is absolutely paramount for Everton in their current state.

    Much like new kit season, it's usually the fan efforts that you see on social media - or here - that look the best The club should save a few quid, open a competition for fans to send in their mock ups and take it from there

    Strangely, if the club jumped onto DHGate and grabbed 20 knock off Chinese numbers for the squad they would probably look better on the pitch. Not that I condone that sort of behaviour obviously i wonder if the issue will be slightly improved when the days weather changes and the players start wearing base layers underneath the shirts

    For such an impressive squad in some areas, we really are lacking cover at full back. With the amount of work we ask our full backs to do we are risking burnout/ injury due to overloading Kinda feel we should have kept young for this very reason as he could've have covered either side I do think we wil rest Konsa - he said himself he was tired in the Chelsea post match interview

    you can tell he's gonna go flippin mental when he scores his first goal. If its in front of the holte he is definitely going to end up in it and we may never see him again

    I wouldnt obsess too much about who gets dropped for her from our starting 11. Starting 11 is an increasingly complex concept under Unai. Looking at the impact our subs made against Palace emphasises how there are different phases in games which may call for different personnel. Used to be that the best 11 players were your minute 1 starters but going forward I think Emery will be more mindful of what phase of the game he wants to see some of his players contribute to

    Whoever wins the penalty has to take the penalty - US soccer league in the 80's style from the half way line. If you get fouled and end up up off the pitch then roll back on - no treatment for you. Either roll back off to get treatment or lay there til the game finishes
