  1. Bunch of lazy entitled prats running around wearing that shirt. Utd fans have fully turned on rashford. Manager is miserable and uninspiring who has done very little to warrant his reputation prior to coming Just lovely isn't it?
  2. its a strange feeling but I cant wait to play Arsenal and Man City. Usually scared and apprehensive. Bring it on
  3. The more we threaten the top 4 the more they will look to buying our players to destabilise more than anything Man city know full well they could get a player as good as Ollie or McGinn outside of the premier league. But why do that when you can get a player and at the same time weaken a rival
  4. Yeah I think I am not going to pursue my interest in dating Margot Robbie Also, she may say no
  5. Head say get into Champions league Heart says win FA Cup Somewhere in the groin area says win Europa Conference League
  6. Have seen a lot worse tackles result in much less injury. Unlucky but thats football I guess
  7. do we know if the Bentancur injury is an entirely new issue or is it related to the injury he has returned from? only ask to establish if he was in fact rushed back to play earlier than would be ideal due to Spurs injury/ suspension list
  8. That's actually a pretty disgraceful irresponsible tweet from a paid supposedly professional pundit
  9. Much obliged sir. I'll add them to the list
  10. Been getting into this whole "Giallo" thing lately (until two weeks ago I thought that was the name of a director!) Always been a horror fan but this is a very particular genre Watched Susperia, Opera, Tenebrae and Torso so far. All class (if weird) Open to any other suggestions form you proper movie guys
  11. Did you leave a deposit? Do a bit of double entry?
  12. I think what doesn't get as much attention is that he did all that on Sunday with dodgy gloves. Three times he sadly and reluctantly had to slow down the pace of the game because the straps of those pesky gloves came loose and he had to re-fit them It was so bad at one point that John McGinn had to help him out - while John himself was being substituted (with a few minutes to go and Villa in the lead). Incredible stuff
  13. Yeah and what does that idiot know about running?
  14. as good as the pass from Youri, a second touch or delaying the finish and he likely would have been tackled or blocked down. Excellent decision making and execution from Ollie
  15. Just to complicate matters I thought I noticed Carlos having two backheel clearance efforts during the Spurs game which totally reminded me of McGrath
  16. All ive learnt is that - depressingly - im probably too thick to be a footballer cos no way would I take any of that in let alone remember it and apply it in the heat of the moment!
  17. The bit that annoys me about the cash tackle is the Spurs fans moaning that he was just back form injury so Cash should have gone easy on him. Nope. If he's on the pitch he'll be treated like any other player. If he is still too fragile he shouldn't be on the pitch. Simple enough
  18. Watched 5 or 6 villa lads after the game yesterday walking up the dodgiest most ill-lit street beside spurs stadium, weaving between spurs fans singing this at the top of their lungs. I may have been the last to see those guys ever! On the title race - this may be the last year we get to win the league with City still in the league or without a points deduction. So for that reason alone I'd be happy enough finishing first this year!
  19. Honestly I find it quite stressful watching Villa players on international duty. Triple agony of wanting them to do well so you are watching them like a proud parent, the worry about them getting injured, and the worry about them doing so well they get tapped up by another team! Id rather none of them were internationals and be done with it
  20. Yeah it's a bit nuts to be in the position we are in and not have a real genuine alternative for our striking position. Definitely think a striker is our priority however we have been so dependent on Ollie that we may be getting a bit like spurs when they had Kane - they struggled to recruit a top quality striker as they know they are coming in as second choice. Hence why they spunked £60m on richarlison
  21. I've never watched a match involving Leon bailey where he hasn't been down needing treatment Think he's a wee bit precious sometimes I'm sure he's fine
  22. Went to see a band called Elvana last week in the limelight in Belfast. They are a Nirvana/ Elvis tribute act playing Elvis songs in the style of Nirvana, Nirvana songs in the style of Elvis, medleys of both artists songs and everything in between ("R**e me Tender" being a particular highlight) Musically actually really good, really charismatic frontman prowling around in the crowd half the time, loud and got the crowd bouncing Absolute fever dream of an experience but would highly recommend it if you ever get the chance
  23. That cant be right. If anything spurs overpaid by about £30m. Translated crudely into punishment points (1 pt for every £5m) then they should really have had a 16 point penalty imposed!
  24. wow. four £100m+ players and two more whose market value wouldnt be far off. Thats not a bad stable of players for Southgate to win everything with. He wont - obviously. but he should
