  1. Much like new kit season, it's usually the fan efforts that you see on social media - or here - that look the best The club should save a few quid, open a competition for fans to send in their mock ups and take it from there
  2. In a royal survey, William said it was really bad but strangely Andrew had no issues wearing it
  3. At least this has come out after a win. Would have been embarrassing if they were blaming a loss on the wet kits. But like man utd complaining about their grey kits back in the day
  4. Strangely, if the club jumped onto DHGate and grabbed 20 knock off Chinese numbers for the squad they would probably look better on the pitch. Not that I condone that sort of behaviour obviously i wonder if the issue will be slightly improved when the days weather changes and the players start wearing base layers underneath the shirts
  5. For such an impressive squad in some areas, we really are lacking cover at full back. With the amount of work we ask our full backs to do we are risking burnout/ injury due to overloading Kinda feel we should have kept young for this very reason as he could've have covered either side I do think we wil rest Konsa - he said himself he was tired in the Chelsea post match interview
  6. yeah. thats a bit far fetched - you have Martinez, Diaby, Konsa, Kamara and Ramsey too remember
  7. you can tell he's gonna go flippin mental when he scores his first goal. If its in front of the holte he is definitely going to end up in it and we may never see him again
  8. woah woah woah. denigrating? coherent? We sure this dude's a footballer?
  9. Can't believe they paid £115m for caicedo and didn't even play him today......
  10. Hopefully the Chelsea fans who paid £1,780 for the VIP ticket to this game are consoled by the free Chelsea top which is thrown in
  11. Cant deduct point off them if they dont have any points . Very clever Everton, very clever indeed
  12. Dunno what you mean - £1,780 for a ticket seems perfectly reasonable!
  13. I wouldnt obsess too much about who gets dropped for her from our starting 11. Starting 11 is an increasingly complex concept under Unai. Looking at the impact our subs made against Palace emphasises how there are different phases in games which may call for different personnel. Used to be that the best 11 players were your minute 1 starters but going forward I think Emery will be more mindful of what phase of the game he wants to see some of his players contribute to
  14. Whoever wins the penalty has to take the penalty - US soccer league in the 80's style from the half way line. If you get fouled and end up up off the pitch then roll back on - no treatment for you. Either roll back off to get treatment or lay there til the game finishes
  15. It was Buendia esque. Crucially he saw the pattern early cos he was demanding the ball to be played to him from the wing and knew immediately what he was going to do with it once he received it. Think he is a really intelligent footballer - just needs a few starts/ 90 minutes to get up to speed physically
  16. His pass to the crystal palace player 10 yards in front of him from the free kick is one of the worst things I've ever seen on a football pitch He's owes mcginn a bag of chips for making the tackle straight after
  17. Absolutely this. Think I counted 4 different version of his name. Was infuriating. It's not even that difficult!
  18. Right lads I reckon it's time we grabbed our crowbars and prize the word Ellis off the stand name down villa park! It's only fitting for this fella who has shown a commitment and passion for our club which, if I'm being quite honest, I didn't expect from such a young mercurial South American talent. I thought he would have "traded up" by now but instead he has put his head down and worked his arse off for us. Love you Dougie!
  19. So did match of the day have a good chat about him, focusing on the technique of the shot, his impact on the game, his young age, journey in the game No, course not, instead they made a bunch of shitty Duran Duran puns during the replay of the goal . Was like a VT transfer thread Nobheads.
  20. The ref booking mcginn for a challenge in midfield and then not booking doucoure (I think) for a similar but much more dangerous tackle on Dougie really ground my gears I must say Though credit for booking eze for waving the imaginary card
  21. unless he's playing against Barrow bizarrely
  22. he'll be fun to watch in that league. Not that I ever will
