  1. weve already just bought their captain, do you really think they would sell more players to us? lol since when did bournemouth become an appealing club to buy players from
  2. grasshopper, i like your way of thinking, and any other proud human being would try to better themselves, but this is gabby, the guy is allowed to earn £60k per week without any official questioning the reason why through performance related pay, he in essence can do what he wants, and if that means not caring about himself or the team he is meant to support for the love of money, then that shows the type of person he is. quite simply, money has made him a terrible human being, and a fat lazy talentless footballer.
  3. im guessing most of us have seen the article about him, stating that he will be staying at villa next season? thats a shame.
  4. the people on here still saying that he will be of use in the championship, have you lot sobered up yet? hes crap at right back, hes crap at centre back and he will be even more crap in any other position.
  5. It's funny how this is seen in the eyes of everyone and how there's so many different opinions that nobody can see the full picture, people are under the impression that we will be on our own, well we are still apart of Europe, the UK leaving isn't a vendetta against other European countries, this clearly isn't going to happen over night. Every country has to do right for itself, not for Brussels, we will still no doubt buy from Europe and they will from us, but what this does mean is that everyone is going to need to pull their weight, get the unemployment quota down (my in-laws certainly wont help here!) get employment up and prove that we don't need Europeans doing our jobs for us. And with that extra money, improve our education system and NHS (although we all know this is going to be torn apart whether we stayed or left) What the country needs to do now regarding immigration, is get our armed forces with loaded rifles at our ports and docks, kick the UKBA into touch and make sure our gates are closed, because lets be honest, that's probably the main reason most people voted to leave, and there's no denying that, this country has been shafted by Europe for far too long. As for Scotland, well, they want to be independent but want to sponge off England, its like somebody mouthing off on Facebook saying they want nothing to do with their family, but then phoning uncle Bob to borrow £50 (which they never pay back), let the sweaty socks go and sponge off Europe and leave our wallet alone, lets see how they cope without OUR NHS. Id be surprised if soon enough we will get less euro for the pound, that's my holiday to Spain costing more next year! It's Friday, lets calm down and drink one of our fine European lagers
  6. with more games than usual next season, theres no way players like okore will stay fit for many, were going to need a large squad so 3 signings just wont be enough.
  7. the sensible thing to do would clearly be to see who else we sign first then see who has the best leadership skills, no doubt they will all be tested during pre-season if it happens to be tommy, then best of luck to him, its a new chapter for him as well as this club.
  8. could someone enlighten me please as to who of our previous managers actually rated gabby and could potentially see him as an asset at their new club? (this is of course accepting the fact that nobody in their right mind would actually sign a striker that cant score.)
  9. add to the fact that they have kids working there, i doubt any of them know how to clean the lines, yuk. im keen on heineken (or carling), but then again i dont have to drink it as i dont get chance to go to the matches, i just hope theres some good marketing involved and revenue, maybe we will see a villa mention on the next heineken tv advert.
  10. sometimes in your job you will lose interest and know your time is up, its time to move on, even though your work mates might want you to stay, things have gone stale.
  11. done his job so well its put him out of a job, to be fair, hes done brilliantly in the short amount of time hes been here, would have been nice if he stayed on with the new board, he seems clued up.
  12. get rid of 99% percent of the first team (ok, not sure how that percentage works but you know what i mean!) its time for a complete clear out and a fresh start, no more 'second', third, forth or fifth chances, theyve all had too many and theyre laughing that theyre getting away with it, havent us fans seen enough of them?
  13. i agree with this, its crazy how the manager hardly gets any input into the team he has to manage and is expected to coach whatever players are handed to him. surely the manager knows what team he wants more so than anyone else? the manager should manage 3 teams, scouting team, coaching team and playing staff, it might seem alot, but it makes more sense.
  14. the younger players will never come out and say they want to stay to fight for promotion, 99% of footballers (obviously this isnt an exact figure) in the past 15 years only want to play the game for money and fame, not for the art or finesse of the game, modern day journey men that will go anywhere for the money, even if theyre not getting a game (zog as example) im not surprised he wants out, let all the journey men go, we need to rebuild anyway
  15. last week it was reported that rdm would have £50m this window, earlier in the week it was £40m, by friday it was £35m, hopefully the takeover is completed by tomorrow so it doesnt drop below £30m, we need 11 new players as least
  16. we all clearly know its a much bigger picture than just blaming paddy, but theres no denying that hes partly to blame, his scouts scouted the dross that we sign that has relegated us, i dont know who negotiated the contracts with players and agents but more of the blame has to lie with sherwood and managers before but not intergrating the foreign players. but back onto paddy, its no secret his scouting methods are highly questionable, too much moneyball and football manager, did he ever go into the field himself and look at actual players?
  17. disapointed to see donacien, kinsella, lyons-foster and siegrist on that list richards, lescott and gabby need adding to it
  18. a guy that has watched moneyball too many times and thinks he can do it its time for a fresh approaching on scouting and purchasing players, time to buy players who can perform and not those based on the fact that they could perform.
  19. gabby is too much of a lost cause
  20. yip, thats me, im a glass half empty kind of guy
  21. hes got to take over the club first... these delays had to happen to us...
  22. for far too long this club has been a selling club, we dont need to be anymore, weve been selling our decent players on the cheap for far too long and look now where its got us, the doldrums of the championship
  23. and he will walk in january if we dont get the new chairman in on time or even at all, therell be no money to improve the first team, nobody can work with the dross at this club at the moment.
  24. im sure i read somewhere that the new chairman wants little to stay on, which would be great as he could act as the go between, between coaching team and directors
  25. tbf, natasha, hell ye, giggs missus though, looks abit of a miserable c***
