i said something similar to this a few days ago, the £50m spent was clearly just to get us up, this team might just get us back in the premier league, but it wont take us any further, so it will need another £50m spent on it. but this is still a business at the end of the day, and no businessman is going to run at a loss, id expect tony to look at other avenues once were promoted, maybe a feeder club in china, a few chinese players in our acadamy, maybe in the first team also (although cant name any at the moment) merchandise sale to increase with shirts sold globally and not just from a little store behind the north stand, who knows what tony has planned to increase revenue, what we do know is that he will have to spend alot of money on this club. the above paragraph may have gone of tandum alittle, but its necessary to spent more on the first team. and tone, please rebuild the north stand!

ive just done a little research and noticed that andrew stone was also titled as a technical director, but his twitter title is 'Head of Performance Analysis & Technical Recruitment', so is this basically a technical director or head of football operations? EDIT: wasnt that also paddy rileys role?

im not sure why the topic of cost of the new team is in the kodija thread, but here goes, £50m may certainly be alot of money, but is it enough to promote us? maybe, maybe not, what £50m does get you nowadays is stability, and thats what we needed first, that £50m might just prevent us from getting relegated again to league one. theres still plenty of building to do, even if we get promoted first time round, the first team will need extra strengthening, could that be another £50m? a few weeks ago, dr xia even admitted (in so many words) that lerner lied to him about how good the first team was and how he sees it was completely sh*t.

i hope weve got another centre back lined up, bit of a worry going into the season with just 3, elphick, chester and baker. anybody know how long toner is out on loan for? strange to let okore go without a replacement maybe? and we all know we cant rely on lescott and richards with the hope that theyre leaving.

somebody should change the title of this thread, or maybe lock it, as this club isn't going up this season, if a prestigious club with the first team half full of internationals cant even beat a couple of two-bob clubs, then achieving promotion just isn't realistic, even scraping for a top half finish is pushing it. the club may have already spent alot of money but it's not showing it, obviously the most common reply is the team needs time to gel, blah, blah blah, but theyre professional footballers, they should already have the ability from pre-season to gel.

i really hope we get a proper right back in, whether it be de laet, trippier or yedlin, we just cant rely on hutton, bacuna or richards.

im still as obsessed with this game that when it was first released, only with me being a new gamer and this being the first game ive played, im still not very good as theres alot of need to do, like complete the lester heists, or even start the lamar missions, dont even get me started on adversary modes... got a nice selection of cars and bikes though...

with the latest news that traore wants out, i couldnt have him in my team,, so ive just sold him for £30m and bought nathan redmond, im hoping he can continue my good form, ive changed sinclair with tom ince as well for the left wing. ive sold okore as well for £23m and bought ekstrand and ryan inniss, although i upset ekstrand by taking the captiaincy off him to give to elphick, ive since reinstated him.

ive gota admit, a few weeks ago i was expending to go into the season with the okore and clark pairing, with richards and lescott as the options, what a horrible thought, chester and elphick are a league above.
