Boring or what. Basically the only time in the season where you get to see the youth/fringe players get a run out. Just how many players is Gerrard planning on marginalising before he gets sacked next month?

Needs to work out what his best XI is and fast. Worryingly the one area of the team he does seem to have settled on, the midfield, is where we look worst. He's made a rod for his own back making McGinn captain.

It's interesting looking back at his last competitive appearance for us in early April where we voted him our motm, McGinn had a shocker by all accounts and Buendia came on for Coutinho and was far more effective than him, sound familiar?
