  1. Everton have spent massively over the last few years, can they keep doing it? Ancellotti never seems to stay for more than a couple of seasons, I can see him going too.
  2. I loved his post-match interview where he wants more from the team. It's all about improvement.
  3. Yeah I saw that he looked like he was taking it too far as the referee seemed a bit shocked. Many have been saying what a great guy he is, from what I can see he's a word removed!
  4. Question: are we impacted by the Euros? Will we try to do business before? Euro 2020 final is 11th July PL 2021/2022 begins 14th August.
  5. Just to add Tuchel is a horrible man and it seems his Chelsea team is molded to reflect that. To watch Tuchel he was irksome, harassed the officials at every opportunity and bemoaned every decision with his arms outstretched. He looked like a spoilt child.
  6. @JAMAICAN-VILLAN I agree and hope Jack Grealish leads us to glory, the timing is right for him and the club. Investment, progress everywhere around the club from youth level to first-team. As a true Villa fan he'd be mad to leave us anytime soon.
  7. Unless it's a striker to play back-up I can't see us signing one. Watkins, Davis, Wesley, Traore, Barry and Chukwuemeka. I know Chukwuemeka is a deeper player but believe he can play up there too.
  8. Nakamba for me too, his energy was good today and some crucial interceptions and blocks. A good finish for the season gives us confidence to progress. Exciting times, UTV.
  9. I thought he was brilliant today, gets around the pitch, loves a challenge and he is distributing the ball much better. The block edge of the box from Mount was brilliant too, a shot that seemed destined for the goal when they were getting the better of us. I think that very moment we were galvanised from his block and grew into the game. MOTM for me.
  10. They quickly were drowned out by the clapping though... However some people around the country are obviously either fed up of it or see it as an empty gesture.
  11. What a challenge on Kovacic about 26 minutes in, crucial area of the pitch to get it right. Absolutely outstanding!
  12. Terry mentions Villa fans hating him and finding it unacceptable when he first joined. Personally I've always thought he was a great player and liked his desire and passionate a footballer. Can't see him getting the Chelsea job anytime soon though.
  13. Sage advice, you do post a alot. Have a rest!
  14. This aged well... If I was a Twitter aficionado I'd be retweeting this like a Mofo!
  15. El Ghazi has been good this season and he's improving. 9 goals in 27 PL appearances. The rest maybe they will mostly go with the exceptions of one or two.
  16. Absolutely, we are so much better fans. It's been a team of progression and the team need our support. UTV
  17. A shame for Diego Armando Maradona, I heard a report into his last week's after his operation that stated he was in unbelievable pain until his death. Sounds a bit like the Michael Jackson cover-up and dodgy care he was supposed to have. The world can be so tragic at times. Just after Maradona died I watched 'Maradona in Mexico' and I felt so sorry for him especially after seeing the film 'Diego' and reading 'El Diego' many years ago. His life was infiltrated by evil people who corrupted him. R.I.P Diego.
  18. Joachim was so fast, I liked him. Still playing I believe too.
  19. I know he gets some stick on here but I really like him. Traore is magical at times and he seems to best close to scoring goals the season. A good pre-season and I think he's going to improve and be such a key player for us.
  20. Great performance ALL of them. McGinn's best game for ages. Thought Grealish added that quality we've missed though, he was an outlet and made space, created chances and set some key attacks. I know Nakamaba made an error that led to their goal but I thought he played really well. El Ghazi too had a good game tonight and he seemed to actually get 'stuck in' a little bit. Bertrand Traore, he's some player. I know he gets some stick but I really like him, seems like he's about to score goal of the season any minute! Really proud to see Chukwuemeka and Philogene-Bidace get on and actually look ready for PL football. One absolutely top class save from Martinez, (maybe two). UTV
  21. To echo the sentiments on his thread as others before me... Just looked so calm with the ball, seems to have pace too. Big future for him.
  22. Composed for one so young, scary how good Carney could be in the future and hopefully with Villa. So unlucky not to score on his debut. The feeling of pride you get from seeing the young players make their debuts is really quite something. It is indeed the beautiful game!
  23. Possibly his best performance of the season? Credit where it is due, just wish he was consistently performing.
