I want to say there was a 14.0 once in the past but I can't remember specifically who, or whether the points system was slightly different back then. But it would have only been once if at all. But this guy is getting hattricks in every home game so he may be unprecedented anyway.
His goal return is considerably worse than Ollie Watkins that's what 'could have been' If he'd have produced 27 goals in 102 appearances he'd be getting absolutely mullered on here (OW has produced 26 in 80 in a far harder league and is no way near good enough for us).
I agree, it’s such a silly argument.
Games are won by margins but the consistency of being the wrong side of that line for Gerrard in 2022 is a constant factor.
We look and play like a poor team, we look like a team that has less points in the last 19 games than played games, we look like we can’t score and as the commentators have commentated in the last two games we are hard team to watch.
We aren’t being unlucky because the play is brilliant and the points will come. No, we look like a team that has 8 points in 8 games, and has only scored 6 in the league this season.
The players all look out of form and to argue if something had gone slightly different we’d be much higher in the league is laughable when, as you say, the argument could just as easily to be said that we could be further down the league.
her and others are one of my pet hates .... TV stations seem to think inclusivity means employing people with fake accents who deliberately butcher the English language
We don't need to go back to the 1950's style BBC presenter who spoke with a plum in his mouth , but there should be a little bit of standards applied
but maybe I'm turning into one of those old men who yell at clouds
