Callum Robinson

He was offered a 2 year deal but is stalling.

There is a new two-year deal on the table, but Robinson feels his rise to the fringes of the first team is not reflected in the offer.

He is expected to resume negotiations after he returns from Villa’s involvement in the Hong Kong Soccer Sevens youth tournament next weekend.

He's not involved in the tournament.

Went to see England v Montenegro at Walsall yesterday, he came on as a second half substitute and scored a peach of a goal from around 25 yards.

Not sure about his celebration though!

I get the impression he is better at England youth level than Agbonlahor. Correct?

Most definitely, from memory, gabby only played for England at u20 and u21 levels, Robinson has played all the way up from u16 to u19

still at U19s then. he needs to continue his progress to the U21s. there is much more competition for places in the England U21s than the U19s.

Hopefully if he isn't playing much this season he'll be loaned out. We've become much better at this with our young players in the last year. Much better him playing regularly than warming the bench like the Fonz did for two years.
