sir_gary_cahill
Yes, he's quick, strong, a good finisher and got good ability on the ball, he seems to have a good attitude as well, time will tell if he makes it or not though

samjp26
Interesting to see that he hasn't been announced as released, must have given him a new deal?
dudevillaisnice
He was offered a 2 year deal but is stalling. There is a new two-year deal on the table, but Robinson feels his rise to the fringes of the first team is not reflected in the offer. He is expected to resume negotiations after he returns from Villa’s involvement in the Hong Kong Soccer Sevens youth tournament next weekend. http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/callum-robinson-keen-extend-aston-7127863
Thevillanofoz
To be honest it's probably his agent talking not him - that is, after all, what they're paid for.

Robbie09
Went to see England v Montenegro at Walsall yesterday, he came on as a second half substitute and scored a peach of a goal from around 25 yards. Not sure about his celebration though!

Brumstopdogs
From the small amounts I've seen of him he looked promising. Hopefully he can continue his development at the club.
Con
I get the impression he is better at England youth level than Agbonlahor. Correct?

Most definitely, from memory, gabby only played for England at u20 and u21 levels, Robinson has played all the way up from u16 to u19 Edited May 25, 2014 by sir_gary_cahill

Most definitely, from memory, gabby only played for England at u20 and u21 levels, Robinson has played all the way up from u16 to u19 still at U19s then. he needs to continue his progress to the U21s. there is much more competition for places in the England U21s than the U19s. VillaChris
Hopefully if he isn't playing much this season he'll be loaned out. We've become much better at this with our young players in the last year. Much better him playing regularly than warming the bench like the Fonz did for two years.
sir_gary_cahill
Agreed Chris, it definitely did Delfouneso no good, I think Robinson needs to be loaned out as well
packoman
Just scored for the U21s Aston Villa FC @AVFCOfficial · 42s #Boldmere 0-2 #AVFC - GOAL - 61mins: Callum Robinson fires home the rebound after a superb Daniel O'Brien effort is tipped onto the bar. Isa
He is clearly quite far down the pecking order going by preseason so I really hope he can secure a loan move. Too good for the reserves now.
