Because they are BOFHs!!!!!!!!!!!).I want to **** rip these admins' heads off while cursing Bill Joy's name, but I fear that the stupid will be contagious.Seriously, who the **** uses any of the csh-derivatives any more?It's a **** emacs shop too.EMACS!!!!!!!And apparently no one here has used vi since about 1983, because they replaced the sane .vimrc's (you know, the ones that put the m (for improved) in vim) with the ones that make vim just vi. It's like one of the admins gave Bill Joy a blowie at a Grateful Dead concert in 78 and worships his spunk or something.And they've locked down the dotfiles so I can't use my own .vimrc.There is a special circle of hell reserved for admins who meddle in users' dotfiles.
