To me, it was a flop, embarrassing and a bit of an own goal because they couldn’t prove their point and in the end, Trump looked like the issue and not the left. Weird take by Elon. His latest Nordstream piece includes the line: "Today, the supreme commander of NATO is Jens Stoltenberg, a committed anti-communist, who served as Norway’s prime minister for eight years before moving to his high NATO post, with American backing, in 2014. He was a hardliner on all things Putin and Russia who had cooperated with the American intelligence community since the Vietnam War" Stoltenberg was 16 when the Vietnam War ended and chucked stones at the US Embassy in Oslo in a protest over the war. Given the slant of Hersh's recent work (it wasn't Al-Assad who used chemical weapons on his own people in Syria, Skripal poisoning wasn't Russian state etc), i sort of assume he's paid in Rubles now (same for Greenwald). 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's a shame because Hersh's work around the Iraq war invasion was very much needed and of high quality.
