PauloBarnesi Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Saw he turned out last night for the dinner, but see he still hasn’t signed for anyone. Will he ever kick a ball again in anger???
bickster Posted September 11, 2012 Moderator Posted September 11, 2012 He's still holding out for Inter Milan to knock on his door
villa89 Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Jesus the way people talked about him on here I thought he would have been snapped up by Barcelona by now.
Zatman Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 am sure he said he wouldnt play in CHampionship. less than average player and disgusted we paid that money for him
Chindie Posted September 11, 2012 VT Supporter Posted September 11, 2012 Big headed arrogant bastard. His continued inability to find a club is hilarious.
Seat68 Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Everyone that I know that have met him, supporters, say he is a fantastic individual, really top bloke. Average footballer, but top bloke.
b23avfc Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Ye bumped into him twice in town when he was at the Villa. He was friendly both times
PompeyVillan Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Je ne comprend le hatred towards Mr Reo-Coker.
DeepDish Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Well, our club has been in turmoil due to a financial nightmare, and when we know that Reo Coker cost us 16.8 mill pounds, I can see some resentment against both him and the man that spunked the money on him.
PompeyVillan Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 It's not his fault someone was stupid enough to pay him that much. What do you expect him to say "thank you for your kind offer of 40k a week but I'm afraid I'm only worth 20".
VillaGoMarching Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 He' was a great trier, but wouldn't get near our midfield now, not good enough with the ball. We missed him last season in a Mcleish style team.
Wainy316 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 He was very highly regarded as a box to box midfielder at West Ham. Scored his fair share. £8m seemed like a good deal at the time.
Condimentalist Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Someone will take him I'm sure. Perhaps one of the promoted clubs. I always thought he was a decent player for us.
bickster Posted September 17, 2012 Moderator Posted September 17, 2012 He was very highly regarded as a box to box midfielder at West Ham. Scored his fair share. £8m seemed like a good deal at the time. Not by their fans he wasn't. They were glad to see the back of him, they complained about exactly the same things we complained about. His early highlight reel might have looked good but he was basically still the same headless chicken full of energy but lacking in a football brain.
NurembergVillan Posted September 17, 2012 Moderator Posted September 17, 2012 Didn't West Ham fans label him Nigel Mediocre?
Humanoid Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I'm sure someone somewhere is making plans for Nigel
KHV Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Didn't West Ham fans label him Nigel Mediocre? Yeah they did. Perfect fit for West Ham then really, mediocre
Chindie Posted September 17, 2012 VT Supporter Posted September 17, 2012 West Ham fans will provide you with the stories of what he is apparently really like off the pitch as well.
bickster Posted September 17, 2012 Moderator Posted September 17, 2012 Charlton? What part of Europe is that in? ;-)
