The_Rev Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I'm sure someone somewhere is making plans for Nigel If young Nigel says he is happy, he must be happy.

Pelle Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Anyway, so he left Bolton as they were relegated and he didn't want to play in the championship and now he's going to Charlton? Do you think he's finally crashed on the place we call earth?

Do you think he's finally crashed on the place we call earth? Without knowing the ins and outs I suspect his contract expired and either Bolton didn't want to offer him a new one or if there was an offer it was on much lower terms and he thought he could do better.
ml1dch Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 He signed a two-year deal when he joined them, but he had a clause that he could activate if they were relegated. He chose to leave them, he could have stayed for another year if he'd wanted to.
LondonLax Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I think all his family and friends are from south London so it probably makes more sense than staying up in Bolton.
ml1dch Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Signing for Purgatory Athletic probably makes more sense than staying up in Bolton.
