illustrates it quite well. He's just not very good is he.

I was going to post this earlier.

After all that and with what is happening at Chelsea, It just illustrates he will never get another job managing ever again.

If he wants to work in football again it will be Sky or BT or a foreign football channel.

As soon as this spell at Chelsea comes to an end he's finished

A complete dumpster fire of a club at the minute, and you love to see it.

No matter what manager they get in the summer, they are going to have the same problem Potter had... too many players.

How on earth are they going to trim that squad to a manageable number?

Does anyone think he’ll last till the end of the season? I never thought it could happen, but maybe he’ll be sacked.

Yeah I genuinely do think it’s a real possibility him and Chelsea will “part ways” before the final game and have done for a week or two.

A couple of humiliating defeats and I would not be surprised at all. Losing to Bournemouth, getting hammered by Arsenal, whatever. Can easily see it.

I was listening to the football ramble last night and the one comment about them was they’re a clown car, but they used to be a clown car made by Mercedes.

This analogy was further finessed with them saying that the point of a clown car is humorously having loads of people getting out of it. Boehly has seemingly gone the other route and decided to see how many people he can get to fit in the car.

Chelsea's £300m wage bill will be slashed next season because of their failure to qualify for the Champions League with some stars' salaries to be cut by 30% amid growing discontent in the squad

And the prospect of missing out on Champions League football will see a host of players sacrifice vast sums of money.

Following their arrival last year co-controlling owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital have moved to implement a bonus structure to player contracts linked to Champions League qualification that would see their wages fluctuate depending on whether they were playing in the competition.

It was a significant change from the ownership era of Roman Abramovich, who only rewarded players for winning trophies. Mail Sport understands the club’s most recent signings, or those who have agreed new contracts, will see their earning power slashed by at least 30 percent.

Players will also know the club are desperate, they’ll want big money/settlements to agree to leave the club.

Will be difficult to see where some of these players will go, there is little money in clubs outside the PL.

That's like subbing off the sub.......then subbing off the sub you brought on to replace the sub.

Would be hilarious.

If they lose the next 2 say, that’s 6 losses on the bounce (out of 6). Boely’s ego must be severely damaged at this point.

Does he look like a mug for a few more weeks till the end of the season? Or a bit stronger by acting?

They’ll end up stuffing £10-15m into the pockets of players like Sterling and telling them to find a new club.

It's a shame they've been so sensible with this action. Makes them less likely to fall foul of FFP. On the other hand..

Thankfully, its going to piss off their new signings, and the old contract players will be just as pisssed off because they've either been dropped or are finding themselves not qualifying for Europe thanks largely to the arrival of the 30 new players. The old players won't be leaving in a hurry because they'll be earning way more than they'd get elsewhere.

There's going to be some serious pay discrepancies that will drive a lot of resentment in that squad.

The club is the biggest basket case in the league, which is quite the achievement with the likes of Everton, Leicester, Leeds, and Forest all making a strong case for having no clue how to run a football club.

Madness.

Won't even take into account a new manager wanting to bring his own players in - they'll either bring in more players and be left with even more spare, or they'll enforce a sell before buying policy, which will put most decent managers off Id imagine
