O'Neill's legacy crumbling before our very eyes and it's great to see.

Heskey, Warnock, Dunne, Collins and Cuellar to follow Beye in the summer and if we're very lucky Hutton off to Sunderland.

O'Neills legacy was already gone: Milner, Ashley Young, Luke Young, Downing, Friedel,

That's only half of it.

And yet depending on the agenda, both halves are rarely mentioned together. The fact is he did good and bad. Gave us back some pride, some good league finishes, respectability amongst rivals, some very good players and some awful overpriced and under-used shite. Today a significant part of the bad legacy is gone.

For me the best bit is the adjustment to the wage bill.

He did do good and bad, he did get us up to 6th and back into Europe, he won the Peace Cup. It all came at a massive price, one that looking back, for the limited success may not have been worth it?

Did MON sign Hutton? Not sure he’s part of the legacy...

Thought it was such a well known fact on here that AM signed Hutton that i didn't feel it necessary to differentiate between the two, but there you go. :winkold:
