P3te
Why would you want to stream your xbox to a surface tablet? I can understand streaming a game to the vita to play it while you move around the house but i don't get why this is needed? Because you can easily connect your surface to your TV, which means you can play your Xbox One on a different TV in a different room without moving it

samjp26
So I could be away on a business trip, bored, feel like playing some games. I can boot up a Windows 10 device and stream Xbox games from home?
PieFacE Posted January 23, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted January 23, 2015 (edited) Because they want you to plug your sky box into your xbox Is that the only way? At the minute yes. I believe there's plans to create a Sky Go app, bit not sure when it's happening So I could be away on a business trip, bored, feel like playing some games. I can boot up a Windows 10 device and stream Xbox games from home? Hmmm not sure, I assumed your tablet would have to be on the same network as the Xbox (ie, in a different room in your house). But it may work the way you said. EDIT - Watching the video, it seems you can play it from anywhere providing the bandwidth is good enough. That's amazing Think i'll be purchasing a Surface Pro when all of this is released When I'm bored at work, just fire up my Xbox from home and play games. Hope it will have an "Alt+TAB" option in case my boss walks in Free upgrades to Windows 10 too from any Windows 7, 8, 8.1 device within the first year of windows 10 being released! That's pretty awesome! Edited January 23, 2015 by PieFacE

AVFCDAN
Bit quiet on the old games front at the moment. Anything good to look out for in the next month? For the 2 months post Christmas there has been nothing really, i thought these were supposed to games consoles?
PieFacE Posted February 25, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted February 25, 2015 Generally most games come out in the run up to Christmas. I think BF:Hardline is due out soon. Also Dying Light was released recently.... can't think of too much more coming out though.
AVFCDAN
Yeah i appreciate the games model has now changed and the days of 20 odd games a month coming out is probably over. In some ways that suits me because im only a moderate gamer so one game a month (a really polished one) suits me but in the 15 months ive owned this console the general lack of games is quite surprising really.
