Disappointing display, we totally lacked any creativity. I do not know how we are expected to break teams down with a Bannan - Clarke midfield (a centre half and a winger??). Downing dreadful again!!

The only good moment of that match was Bannan trying to win a header against Zigic...and not even coming up to his shoulder.

Pretty drab on the whole, but a good rating for Clark, performing well in a new position in one of our biggest games and almost scoring, and for Bannan, just for trying to out jump Zigic!

Something about the performance, the tactics, the result, along with other events and results, seems to sum up a growing feeling I have that we are back to where we were when O'Dreary left, in many more ways than one.

There really was little between the sides, that 5-1 seems like it was from another World.

Poor game, looked unbelievably bad in the final third in the first half. Only positive is Clark who seemed to grow in the midfield role as the game went on, I also like the idea of him in that role because of the extra aerial threat he gives us.
